Porl and Robert picks

"Front and back of Porl's 2008 pick, Very small pick"

"one on left was given to me by Robert. he said he used it the night before, so San Jose.... The one on the right I got from a roadie who threw them into the crowd after the Mountain View California gig, its was onstage during concert but not used."

Couple of other shots are in the photo gallery.
(Thanks Eric)

  1. Eric, thanks for sending these in. The scan of Robert's pick goes to confirm something for me

When the band visited Perth in 2000, my friend's husband was working on security at Perth airport when the band was leaving. When Robert emptied his pockets for the security check, he left a plectrum in the plastic tray. My friend gave it to me cos she knew that I 'kinda' liked the band. I framed it and have it on display in my living room. I was always concerned that maybe it wasn't Robert's, but guess what, it is a match! Thanks Eric.

  5. well, the 13 inside the heart on the back of Porl's plectrum can give us an ideia of what the album artwork will be like...

  6. Thanks, Jenny!

Gorilla & Mehrlicht - I think you may be right in suggesting that this is a hint to the album artwork.

  9. I use those Dunlop picks too, I have for years. I had no idea Robert used them. I mostly use the black ones and sometimes I use the gray ones for my acoustic.
