ReplyDeleteCraig, r u completly drunk taping what you were dreaming of or is it once again a fantastic setlist with new surprises at each new festival ????!
ReplyDeleteI don't drink, so I'm not drunk. : )

merde ,merde ,merde that show the end of cure that for 2013 after the summer
ReplyDeleteAndrey sent this review of the show:
ReplyDelete"Just one word GREAT!!!!! :)
It is my 7th Cure concert, but the last time was 2005 in Berlin, so i was very happy to see them again ( and again and again and again ;) )
It's started sunny and ended with very hard rain during last few songs. But noone gone. I think that all cure members liked the atmosphere as they smiled pretty often. (especially Roger :))
Robert trying to speak russian is funny :))
Sound was very good.
T-shirts were sold out long before beginning :(
Setlist (sorry didn't write it down, but you have one :))) ) is wonderfull. Open was really a surprise. they played mostly old songs... They played a little more then 3 hours!!!!!!
Reeves on the guitar is great. It was my first time i hear him live.
I recorded some videos. Try to upload it to youtube later today and send you a link.
Now i'm thinking about going for another concert this summer. Maybe Rome... Hmmmm :)
Greatings
(a very happy) Andrey
Ps: my clothes are still wet :D"
I don't I've seen The Cure this energized and up for it and tight since Wish. Reeves has had a big effect.
ReplyDeletethe keyboards are too loud.
ReplyDeletethe best spacial keyboards are those that are there but you aren't aware of them
shake dog shake with keyboard effect of garbage ungly sound!! and reeves the guitar put more effect nex time like the show of bercy !!!
ReplyDeleteGood god the haters are in the house ... eric and mehrlicht, your respective band(s) must be really fucking good!!! Keyboards just right, guitar effects sublime ... please post a sample!!!!
ReplyDeleteis only my opinion !!!but i dont like the sound and for the guitar reeves is not porl thompson not the same thing!
ReplyDeleteThe Cure at Maxidrom 158 minutes video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye2kF9af63w
ReplyDeleteIt was amazing. Especially that I met Mr.Smith & company after an hour after the end of the concert and festival. Robert was full of energy and ready to continue for more. Now as a memory I've got the unforgetable impressions about the 2nd visit on The Cure concert in my life, a picture with Mr.Smith and a t-shirt with signs of all The Cure's musicians.
