They aired Freakshow and only 30 seconds or so of Hungry Ghost. Jimmy said we can watch the full performance of THG on his website, but I don't see it yet. The show is on his website, but no Cure.

craig - didnt get your number and i'd prefer to text you than always e-mail you from my phone
ReplyDeleteSending it in a minute, Andy.
ReplyDeleteJust sent it.
ReplyDeleteomg craig, did Yvonne send in the video of me during Wrong Number? LOL
ReplyDeleteno way.
:)
Yeah, that was Yvonne's. Found it while searching for the KROQ videos. You were rocking! : )
ReplyDeleteHey Andy, have fun tonight!
ReplyDeletesure thing brian, im so happy i was able to make it to every show.
ReplyDeletei had to go back to school today to take a final exam or else i would have been camping out for Kimmel.
I'm leaving now guys, i will text craig. and pictures too.
at what time does the show start? this isn't being webcasted is it?
ReplyDeleteCarlos: No, it will air tomorrow night on US tv. Gates open at 6:15 Pacific. Not sure what time they go on.
ReplyDeleteNo. The show is broadcast live on the east coast, but they usually only show one and a half songs. One song is featured, and another one is played while the credits roll.
ReplyDeleteHowever, usually additional songs are posted up after broadcast on the ABC website.
The show is not being broadcast live tonight.
ReplyDeletehttp://abc.go.com/latenight/jimmykimmel/index?pn=upcomingguests#t=0&d=160548
ReplyDeleteIt's being shown tomorrow. Hopefully that link goes to where I want it, lol.
These TV shows sure could do a much better job of treating their guests. I can't believe they have you standing out in that weather...
ReplyDeleteyeah, and then when the COF peeps scream in the audience, they'll probably pan over to them and say "How about those Cure fans" and everyone will be soaking wet, eyeliner running down their faces, lol. Robert would be proud.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought it would be really cool to attend a concert in the rain - of course I would want it to be warm rain and also not raining like a "motherfucker".
ReplyDeleteWhat are the odds of them playing The Baby Screams....... "heaven, give me a sign".
My vote goes for The Drowning Man
ReplyDeleteLOL, Drowning Man
ReplyDeleteGuess it won't be Prayers for Rain. ; )
ReplyDeleteWhat about Prayers for Rain? :P I feel bad for Andy.
ReplyDeleteDarn you, Craig! lol
ReplyDeleteShow has been canceled due to the weather.
ReplyDeleteWow - the show got cancelled? Those poor people that have been waiting in the rain.
ReplyDeleteAny word on whether it will be rescheduled?
Not canceled. Just moved inside. Only two songs though.
ReplyDeleteBummer - I was hoping it would be rescheduled for tomorrow so I would be able to sit and chat at home.
ReplyDeleteBut a bigger bummer for those people with tickets, that have lined up in the rain, and will now only get 2 songs :(
Andy is in. Trying to get to the front.
ReplyDeleteAndy is fast gaining LEGEND status in my books!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy does inside mean fewer songs? Because of the time it will take to move everything?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the name of Jason's drum tech? Andy really needs to know it, for some reason.
ReplyDeleteV: I would assume so, but not sure.
ReplyDelete*waves hello*
ReplyDeleteJust catching up. Wow, Andy surely is gaining legend status. I am tired just reading about all of the excitement.
*waves to Andrea*
ReplyDeleteAndy: "At this moment I have no clue what's going on. But if anything happens I know I'm in. Some fan causing drama. Getting kicked out for being drunk or something."
ReplyDeleteAndy: "I feel bad if these people get turned away. They've all shown true dedication."
ReplyDeleteAndy: "185 people in line. Everyone is being directed to the front of the building. Security is telling them to go to the lobby in an orderly fashion or else it's OFF."
ReplyDeleteHey Jo!!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I love those scary threats the security people like to make. "Orderly fashion or its off!".
ReplyDeleteSounds like something a father would scream to the kids making noise in the backseat
"We'll turn this car around right now!!" :)
As if they have the authority!
ReplyDelete"If you kids don't stop your complaining, I'll tell Santa not to visit your house"
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking. Like the security guy with the shaved head is going to go to Jimmy Kimmel and say, "We canceled The Cure thing. Those fans just weren't very orderly. You're going to have to do some filler for ten minutes or so...Just FYI, Mr. Kimmel"
ReplyDeleteLOL - DA..... I've missed you!
ReplyDeleteI missed you too! How have you been? How's work been treating ya?
ReplyDeleteWork has been busy - and today I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY do NOT want to be here.... which is not like me at all.
ReplyDeleteAre you in your new job now? Are you enjoying it?
I stood in line, got turned away, my phone is now dead from getting wet :( but I still love the cure
ReplyDeleteAndy says Thank You to Kelly and Yvonne for answering his question.
ReplyDelete*passes Mark a warm blanket*
ReplyDeleteSux about getting turned away.
Andy: "Of course people are trying to sneak in line. Security says as soon as sound check is over, we'll move in."
ReplyDeleteLOL. Funny you ask. Two months ago I couldn't wait to quit my old job. And just today those same people called me and asked me if I'd come in to talk to them about coming back after the first of the year. And I said I would. God help me, I missed them. I miss being busy. I miss the pull-your-hair-out stress of it all.
ReplyDeleteThis new job just isn't what I thought it would be. I don't hate it. Just bored to death. I keep calling it the IT Retirement Facility :)
But they need to quit giving you so much work to do! They need to realize that getting the latest Cure dish is much more imperative! :)
Andy: "I'm hearing Prayers For Rain. Sound check. No way they will air this. lol."
ReplyDeleteMark,
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks about getting turned away. Especially being lucky enough to be in the city and after standing outside in all that rain!
You are a true believer!
Craig,
ReplyDeleteThat would be a riot if they played Prayers for Rain! They'd never play it on Kimmel. But maybe they'll play a couple of extra songs after the taping or something. Don't they do that sometimes?
DA - The pressures of this project will not lift for at least another 6-12 months :(
ReplyDeleteWe have been told that the project is shutting down for the holidays - so YAY, I have two weeks off as of Friday!!!!
And then it will be full on in 2009.
Of course if the Cure announce a tour, I think we ALL know where my priorities will lay.
Isn't it CURE-ious that you are gonna end up back at the place that you hated. Sometimes the saying "better the devil you know" is sooooo true.
I hope they play some extra songs for the fans that have shown so much dedication to wait in the rain all day.
ReplyDeleteAndy: "Now hearing Hungry Ghost. Hopefully it's done better than at secret show. : )"
ReplyDeleteElise, (Can I call you Jo, too?)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome that they give you the two week break. And its going to be right at the first day of summer for you guys down there isn't it? You make sure and enjoy yourself!
DA - you want to call me Jo as well as Elise..... or instead of ;)
ReplyDeleteCourse ya can... it is my name, after all....
So do I call you (eek, I hope I get this right) Tim?
The Hungry Ghost really grew on me. That was one of the 4:13 songs I was kind of iffy about. But after several times I kind of really started to like it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the whole bit about the kimono coral floral print. Kinda groovy :)
Wow, very good! Yep. You can call me Tim.
ReplyDeleteOr Tee-Tee (thats what my 18 month old nephew calls me because he can't quite say Tim yet, just the letter "T")
I feel so terrible for Mark. That really is depressing to be turned away after waiting in the cold rain.
ReplyDeleteGiven that I have the ability to type Tim (and it uses four less keystrokes than Tee Tee) Tim, it is!
ReplyDeleteHow are the nephew(s)? If I remember correctly they were twins (eek - will this be my downfall?)
Andy: "Same Deep Water As You sound checked."
ReplyDeleteAndy: "Once more they're sound checking PFR, they better play it dammit."
Andy: "I hear they also sound checked earlier while everyone in line was around back. Prayers For Rain in the rain. How gloomy."
Right again! Very good memory!
ReplyDeleteYup. Two adorable little nephews. Who will have a ton of spoiledness coming their way on December 25. I think I am now officially a part-owner in Fisher Price.
If they have reheared PFR three times, I would be surprised if they didn't play it - besides, it sits beautifully with Robert's sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteRunning Hug Elise!
ReplyDeleteJust popping in to say hello.
Going to bed soon. Snotface needs her rest ;)
Whoa! SDWAY?? Thats crazy!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that just blow everybody away if they played THAT on Jimmy Kimmel? It won't happen in a million years, but it'll give us something to daydream about!
8:11 - Andy: "C'mon Cure, stop teasing us."
ReplyDelete8:10 - Andy: "The Kiss is now being sound checked."
Hey Bells!!
ReplyDeleteThey have a great sense of humor playing SDWAY when everyone was in the rain.
This is one crazy soundcheck for a 2 song performance. :)
ReplyDeleteV: I have a feeling it was the Kimmel people who said 2 songs. They don't know RS. : )
ReplyDeleteWhy couldn't this be the webcast?
ReplyDeleteV, I was thinking the same thing!
ReplyDelete*running tackle, Bells*
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you still have a face full of snot :(
SDWAY - Craig - this may be one for the TARDIS!!!
*waves at V*
Hi Elise!
ReplyDeleteOK. I've been trying to decipher that acronym. What does TARDIS mean? Or is it one of those PHT kind of deals? ;)
ReplyDeleteAndy has been advised that he probably shouldn't turn his phone on once the taping starts, so we might not get the setlist until after the taping is finished.
ReplyDeleteCraig: Care to explain this one? ;)
ReplyDelete8:18 - Andy: "Sound check done. It seems."
ReplyDeleteAww, that sucks about the updates.
ReplyDeleteTime And Relative Dimensions In Space!
ReplyDeleteCraig: Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteJust for you, V. ; )
ReplyDeleteAwwww, man. I was hoping it was something PG-13 rated at least :)
ReplyDeleteBut thanks for the explanation!
"i'm stuck in the tardis
ReplyDeletetrapped in hyperspace
one minute snake charming
the next in a motorcade"
hi Andrea!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing how this turns out tonight.
Andy is our hero!
I just read the notes from tonight and that is hilarious! Robert has such a wicked sense of humour. :)
ReplyDeleteDA: Hey, the TARDIS could easily be at least PG-13 ... ;)
ReplyDeleteAs they say, when the TARDIS is a-rockin...
Or something. Nevermind me. ;)
8:22 - Andy: "I think I just SWID for sound check. Only heard drums. Now hearing bass line to Hungry Ghost."
ReplyDeleteAha! I just looked it up. That was the Dr. Who phone booth-type thing. Well if I approach one and the windows are fogged up (insert sultry saxophone music)...I'll just wait to make my phone call.
ReplyDeleteAww, V. You been messing around with the Doctor? Or was it Ace? ; )
ReplyDeleteTim - COF is sometimes Disney rated, but more often than not we veer into M-15 territory..... where we belong :)
ReplyDeleteHEARD SWID
ReplyDeleteCraig: I'll never tell! ;)
ReplyDeleteWasn't SWID, Andy now says. Doing Freakshow now.
ReplyDeleteV: Oh I'll get it out of you! And then I'll find out about Ace. ; )
ReplyDeleteDA: That's probably a wise rule of thumb to adhere to. (Oh no - did I just dangle a preposition??)
ReplyDeleteCraig: Aww, must you get it out so soon? I promise I'll tell... ;)
ReplyDeleteV: That aint a preposition! : P
ReplyDeleteI try to keep my mind out of the gutter. But in all honesty, that's really where it belongs! :)
ReplyDeleteCraig: Oh yeah, then what is it, pray tell?
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does it sometimes feel wrong to read these conversations?
ReplyDelete8:35 - Andy: "Now I hear from security that only 85 people are in. But I wasn't supposed to hear that. : )"
ReplyDeleteElise: I'm sorry. I'm shutting up.
ReplyDeleteCraig and V: Please don't shut up on my account - I love it when you guys come out to play!
ReplyDeleteV you simply have no shame! You dangle that participle in front of me like that and get me all hot bothered and then you turn around and split Craig's infinitive as soon as I turn my back. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's just sometimes I need a shower afterwards :)
ReplyDeleteSo, they sorta sound checked HG twice....maybe thats the one? Would be cool anyway!
ReplyDeleteNotice how I am changing the subject!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWTF?? The Cure is on tonight, right? According to the TV, its some Lady Gaga or somebody I never heard of performing tonight.
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something or is the Cox Cable guide just messed up?
Where did everyone go..are you all in the shower???
ReplyDeleteDA it airs tomorrow night
ReplyDeleteTim - are you serious????? even I know it is airing tomorrow night - and my care-factor is not high cos we don't even get Jimmy Kimmel here :(
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Now I feel kind of dense. They're taping it for tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteWell at least we all know why its called Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!! :)
8:46 - Andy: Kevin, one of the coordinators is telling security that they probably won't pull the plug and let them play long. Again a conversation I overheard."
ReplyDeleteYay Cure!
Jo, I never seem to get past the headline of a story. For some reason I thought it was airing tonight. But you guys are right. The TV said The Cure is on tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder how I find my way home every day :)
THAT's IT!!!! It is official - Andy IS a LEGEND!!!!!
ReplyDelete8:50 - Andy: "Going in now."
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I be Andy?
ReplyDeleteI concur. Andy's prowess as a Cure concert goer and supplier of information is quite impressive!!
ReplyDeleteAndy says that everyone was picking on him, telling him he was sending too many updates. : )
ReplyDeleteoooh just in time!
ReplyDeleteHI EVERYBODY!
Hi Sofia.
ReplyDeletelots of updates, i see! that andy is a godsend
ReplyDeleteWell goodness. If they aren't going to be on the air tonight, I'm going to take my shot of Nyquil and head for bed.
ReplyDeleteJo, it was awesome to talk to you again. You are one of my favorites!
V, I hope you know I was teasing about the dangling participle thing (Sometimes my wacked-up sense of humor offends people and its not intentional)
Yes, he's keeping me very busy. : )
ReplyDeleteI hope Andy told them to STFU - he is a star for caring so much for all of us who are living vicariously through him
ReplyDeleteGoodnight, DA. Don't forget to watch it tomorrow!
ReplyDeletehello, future-girl :)
ReplyDeletewhats everyone doing while waiting here?
Sleep well, Tim - it was FABULOUS catching up. I have missed the original 4tour chats.
ReplyDelete*hugs Sofia*
ReplyDeleteWhat am I doing while waiting? Pretending to be working ;)
*hugs*
ReplyDeletedoes that mean a lot of fake tapping on the keyboard? :D
i'm drinking coconut water and watching letterman. pfft. weekdays...
Sofia - I don't have to fake tap on the keyboard, cos I add plenty of notes to the blog.
ReplyDeleteBut there IS:
a) a lot of alt.tabbing between screens
b) fake shuffling of paper
c) chatting to myself about work stuff under my breath
Letterman? blah - I don't get his popularity
haha. shuffling paper and chatting to yourself.
ReplyDeleteeyes darting around...lol your office mates must be thinking "what in the world is that girl up to?"
AUGH...responsibilities! be back in a bit!
ReplyDeletei guess Andy said he won't be able to text during the taping... don't want him to get in trouble.
ReplyDeleteMorris: Yes. He will update us as soon as they allow the phones to be turned on again.
ReplyDelete10 years from now we'll be saying:
ReplyDelete"They won't let Andy run his Virtual Reality Rig Holo Goggles during the show!"
LOL - Morris
ReplyDeleteDOH!!! Gotta go to a meeting at 2.30pm (in my world)
I'll check in when I get back.
Bye Jo!
ReplyDeleteBye, Craig - but never fear... I'll be back!!!
ReplyDeleteI've missed these COF chats from work.... although I prefer it when I am at home and can chat without interruption :)
Andy is A-FREAKING-DORABLE and is the sweetest Cure fan!! I wanted to smuggle him home in my suitcase.
ReplyDeleteAndy, do NOT let those crabby Cure peeps give you crap about texting updates, after all, YOU are THERE and we aren't! They just need some sleep and they will be back to their sweet selves very soon!
And I'm SO glad the Curse guys got in! They were so bummed about missing the secret gig, they need some great Cure performances now to make up for it!
ReplyDeleteOh Craig, I just found this
ReplyDeleteLA TIMES - The Cure conquer the Troubador in nearly 3 hour set
Setlist: Freakshow, Hungry Ghost, Let's Go To Bed, Why Can't I Be You, Boys Don't Cry, Jumping Someone Else's Train, Grinding Halt, 10:15 Saturday Night, Killing An Arab.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy! Will have a photo up in a minute.
Sorry for hijacking the thread, but...
ReplyDeleteI've got what you want!
The Real Snow White, live from The Troubadour.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=I68M5GX0
It's only the rough audio in 192kbps. The bass is distorted :( Not sure what's going on there, though I'm convinced my mics are on their last leg. Anyways, I'm going to work on mixing the entire show, splitting it up, and making it available over the next few days. I know you all want to hear the full show. Please be patient.
Thank you Brian!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the LA Times review, Heron!
ReplyDeleteForgot to list Close To Me in the setlist.
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian! :o
and
WOW!!!
11 songs! At Kimmel!! WOOO!!! I'm SO happy for the Cure peeps there! They got totally rewarded for standing in the rain!
I can't count, apparently.
ReplyDeleteSTILL!! 10 SONGS!
:o
Hey Rev! Great pics from this weekend. I particularly like the one of that guy in the black cap and glasses standing by another guy in a groovy purple shirt ; ) Getty Images captured the same two guys that evening at security check. Ha! Security. What fools!
ReplyDeleteBrian, what couple of handsome Cure fans they were! The cameras just couldn't get enough of them. =)
ReplyDeleteSo obviously the boys soundchecked Prayers for Rain and SDWAY for their own personal amusement.
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad that the rain-soaked crowd were given 10 songs. YAY!!
Or rehearsing for something else? : )
ReplyDeleteCraig - I like the way you think!!!!
ReplyDeleteawww andy is so great, he deserves to meet the cure, maybe it will happen during the nxt tour
ReplyDeleteSara - what an amazing weekend you had!!!! How fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLove the Boys Don't Cry video on meebo :)
Can't wait to hear all about your adventures.
Just got home from the kimmel taping and It was great. Im a little disappointed that they were teasing us with prayers for rain but oh well I guess I'd have done it too if I were them. If it wasnt for all of my friends being there the experience of waiting in the cold and rain would have been awful but they made the time pass relatively quickly. It was raining off and on but when it was raining it was pretty bad. It was even hailing for a few minutes (sorry, I know you guys probably dont care what the weather was like but I just want to let you guys know what we went through). The worst part was waiting around wondering if they were going to cancel the show or not. As for the show the band was great but Robert still sounded a little tired. He seemed like he was in good spirits though because he was joking around. At one point he mentioned something about considering using a keytar but thought the better of it. During the indoor sound check (mind you there was an outdoor sound check of prayers for rain before they cancelled that and moved all the bands gear inside) It wasnt the actual band playing PFR or SDWAY. Brian and I were almost positive that it was the roadies soundchecking the bands gear because they werent really playing it right at all. They also briefly messed around with The Kiss but it was just a few bars of the song. Anyway Im really sad that this extended cure weekend has come to an end but from what I hear the bands not leaving for a few more days so you never know what could happen. One of us could run into them at disneyland or something. To those of you I met this weekend all I have to say is that it was a pleasure and I look forward to seeing you all again. Take care.
ReplyDeleteAlexis Gonzalez
The Curse
P.S. Im sure this has probably been mentioned already but It seems funny to me that Simon and Robert were each wearing almost the exact same thing every night they performed. Robert with his hoodie sweater and cargo pants and SImon with his black tights, leather jacket and red scarf around his neck. I know I saw at least 3 different outfits on Porl and as for Jason I can never tell because every time I see him hes usually behind the drums. Anyway its just an observation.
Adding Andy's setlist notes that I didn't get to earlier in the night.
ReplyDelete10:20 - Andy: "Hungry Ghost with monotone vocals but strong ending. Freakshow. First two air. Security tells Rob "it's all yours". Robe asks for vocals to be higher, tests it with "oh oh oh, it's right there". Let's Go To Bed with extra lyrics. Close To Me. Why Can't I Be You with Rob touching head then looking at hand and weirded out about what was on his hand. Boys Don't Cry. JSET with Porl always checking his nails. Grinding Halt with extra lyrics. 10:15. Arab. "See you again really soon."
Oh and during LGTB he paused and thought about a number and said 7. No surprise.
Added lyrics in LGTB were from The Only One."
And Andy is with Brian & Bryce from The Curse, trying to track down info about another Cure event. : )
ReplyDeleteAnd he did get to meet with Ricky, Jason's drum tech.
Brian was with Jeremy, Robert's guitar tech, and says he's a great magician, and a very nice guy, too.
Alexis - Sounds like you had a great time - even if you were a little cold and wet.
ReplyDeleteCraig - I see you sleep patterns haven't improved much ;)
Just wanted to enter all of that for the record. : )
ReplyDeleteJo: I just felt like the job hadn't been completed. Needed to enter more data. : )
I understand - I never sleep well when I know there is 'work' to be done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything you do, Craig. You are a LEGEND!!!
Besides, how can I get to sleep, when Andy keeps texting me about secret Cure events? : )
ReplyDeleteIt's okay Andy. The updates were/are great. It's only 4am for him.
More secret events? I'll be excited if it is true.
ReplyDeleteAnd even though I never regret a decision made for the right reasons at the time, I can't help but wish I had decided to go to LA :(
I'm watching KROQ at the moment.... you guys weren't kidding about the number of PHT shots.
10:20 - Andy: " Why Can't I Be You with Rob touching head then looking at hand and weirded out about what was on his hand."
ReplyDeleteOMG THATS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! i would have DIED laughing!!!
*IS dying laughing!!*
Thank you Andy for sharing that!! I AM GRINNING FROM EAR TO EAR RIHGT NOW!!
:D
Andy <-- da man!!
Craig - they are seriously staying for a few more days?
ReplyDeletei wonder if they might go to NYC for some shows there...letterman? snl??
poor guys - they need to rest.
*fluffs pillows for the boys*
I agree they really need to take a day or two to rest up.
ReplyDeletethe cure staying??? wellll then they should come to texas! :D
ReplyDeletethat would be great!
Oh I totally forgot this was happening last night! I was so tired from staying up late on Sunday for KROQ that I went to bed early.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Andy was able to get in and for his reports too! He's the Cure Man for sure! Wonder is there will be any more Cure Events like Andy said. Would be cool if they did something on the East Coast....Like come to Philly Please!!!!!!!!!
Not sure I'll stay up tonight to watch since I can't stand Jimmy K but I'm sure it will be on his web site tomorrow and all around the net too.
had a blast, just wish that something had happened this morning.
ReplyDeleteChris: Yes, they will be here for a couple of more days.
ReplyDeleteLast night drum tech Ricky confirmed it was him & other techs during soundcheck. None of it sounded bad btw, I could just tell it wasn't them, bass is what gave it away.
ReplyDeletesarab yes they should come to Texas and spend the holidays at my house!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Robert - why not escape the cold and come to sunny Perth for Christmas? I'll put a shrimp on the barbie for you.
ReplyDeleteThese are the shirts they were selling at KROQ and Troubadour show.
ReplyDeletehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/lostwishes/1213.jpg
i don't know how some girl got it as a picture on her MySpace background.
"Rob touching head then looking at hand and weirded out about what was on his hand."
ReplyDeleteLOL what???
It would be great if they could come to the East coast, but I can't imagine them sticking around here that long and so close to the holidays...
And here's a photo of the 12:13 Dream t-shirts at the merch. table at the Troubadour.
ReplyDeleteCan someone explain to me why the shirts say "12:08 Dream"?
ReplyDeleteShawn: For December 2008, perhaps? :)
ReplyDeleteDecember 2008. The 12:08 Dream.
ReplyDeletei was kind of bummed by the Kimmel show. I stayed up for it last night and the performance seemed like it was lacking some energy, and robert didn't seem very happy. Then again, they have been on a performing trek doing shows about every night. They deserve a break,
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to hijack the thread, but I wanted to ask you a favor Craig.
ReplyDeleteCould you please post a reminder that the deadline for Nightmare teeshirt orders for holiday shipping is 6 pm Thursday, Dec. 18th? I will still have them after that, but that's the last day I will be able to ship them to have them there before xmas next week.
I will try to have a review of th CD taping and Troubadour show out soon :D
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YdVi5wxZ6Mg
ReplyDeleteyoutube of freakshow =]
Thanks for the youtube link Arron even though the sound is a bit distorted on the video. The show is still not up on Jimmy's Site. Would love to see THG clip!
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with Figurehead in that Robert didn't seem to want to be there. He looked a bit annoyed but then he's most likely quite tired. They all look kind of tired but it was a busy weekend for the band performing five shows in a row and I’m sure some partying too??
Wow what a weekend that was, hard to believe it’s over.
Looked it up Craig and here are the facts.
ReplyDelete50°F for Leno
48°F for Daly
50°F for Secret Show
42°F for those who camped out for KROQ
46°F for those who camped out for Kimmel + RAIN
Wow I thought So Calif was the land of warm weather & sunshine. That's a bit colder that I thought it would get out there. But at least there was no snow or freezing rain like there is on the East Coast. It's crazy weather we are having!
ReplyDeletesomebody have recording of this video in good quality?
ReplyDeleteOk so I just watched my DVR and damn thing cut it off right when the second song started. IS THERE ANYONE THAT HAS THE SHOWING TO WATCH??? please and thank you
ReplyDeleteSG I saw you rocking it during Freakshow haha I LOVE IT!
Kel: You didn't miss much. They only aired about 30 seconds of Hungry Ghost. The full song is supposed to be up on the Kimmel website, but it hasn't been posted yet.
ReplyDeletefingers crossed, I will be able to check out the vids on the kimmel website. I went and had a scout there yesterday and a lot of stuff was NOT AVAILABLE to anyone outside of the USA! It's discrimination, I tells ya ;)
ReplyDeleteJo! Thank you so much for the card! You are much too kind. I've never received a Christmas card from outside of the US, so this was very cool and very special. And I loved that stamp! Thank you again! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and Dave.
ReplyDeleteCraig - You're welcome!
ReplyDeleteFortunately I still had your address written down - sadly, all addresses on my pc were lost in the Great Hard-Drive Crash of 2009. :(
And for the record, there is no such thing as "too kind".
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am currently seeding the video from this programme on Dime.
Enjoy.
Echobunny
Jo - you should be careful, i hear your hard drive will crash in 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteAndy - why? Should I be scared?
ReplyDeleteyou said hard drive crash of 2009. future?
ReplyDeletemmmm. I guess I am taking my Future Girl status a little bit too far......
ReplyDeleteWould you believe it was the Great Hard-Drive Crash of 2008 ;)

ReplyDelete
