I am so kicking myself for not going to this show and I hope for another opportunity to see the cure this year. Craig I think it's way past time for the cure to make their return to NOLA. Thank god for COF! I'll be following the live setlist tonight and dreaming I was in Vegas. I hope the livestream happens. :) All you folks there have a fantastic time!

ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I last posted on here, how have you been DJ? The East Coast gets The Cure during their big tours but very rarely do we get extra shows like they did in December & now! Oh well I shouldn't complain, at least they do come to Philly during most of their tours!

I would love to see another world tour within the next 8-12 months. I really don't think a summer tour is on the cards although I would love to be proved wrong.

pity, those precious treasures should be going for much higher. should be higher than current tour shirts! (meaning tour shirts now should go a bit lower)

I hate GA & at my age Ok I'm only 40 but the pushing & shoving just get to me anymore. I know it will happen at the venue FF is playing in Philly! So if I'm in the back, I may not get the best pics. But I will try & post the good ones if I get any! Tickets were cheap just $25 bucks!!! Wish all show were this price.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember precisely how much I paid for the shirt. I bought it after the show was over, so I was exhausted and dehydrated beyond all belief. It could have been more or less, I really don't recall what I paid for it! XP
I hope most if not ALL that money went to The Cure...
Shirts in the past (the 80's) were cheap but the T-shirt quality was always iffy. Thin shirts, poor printing, too small....well at least the shirts I got. They are way over priced today but I just cannot go to a show and not get at least one! You need a souvenir of the nights show to take home!

ReplyDeletedj when I got the tickets I thought it's only $25 bucks! This must be wrong but no it was only $25 bucks. They are playing the Electric Factory in Philly. Cool place to see a show not too big and it all GA so maybe that why it's cheap? Most of the venues they are playing are small & the prices are mostly under $50.00. Maybe later on they may play bigger venues & the prices will be higher? Who knows but with prices like that, I'd go to more shows!
