Night 5 of the LatAm 2013 tour. They're halfway home, 4 shows down, 4 more to go. First time ever in Chile, and another massive stadium show. At least 35,000 (now said to be 47,000!) fans should be there tonight, and we all hope each & every one of them has the time of their lives!

Buenos Aires got the first playing of Primary on this tour, will Santiago get a first, too? Maybe Same Deep Water As You? Plainsong/Disintegration set opener/closer again, or back to Open/End? Kiss Me encore? Disintegration encore? Pornography encore? Lots of questions now that there's been some changes to the sets. We'll get some answers soon.

Tonight's schedule: Gates open at 6 pm, Amoniaco at 7 pm, Prehistoricos at 8 pm, The Cure at 9 pm. Check the local time in Santiago here or with the clock over there on the right.

Warning: There are only 4 more of Roger's magical autographed tambourines left in existence! Try to capture one tonight! But be kind and don't fight or injure anyone while doing so. It isn't really magical....or is it? :)

We have commitments from a few reporters tonight, but if anyone else who's going to the show would like to help us, especially with the song by song live setlist reports, please contact me. Can never have too much backup. Post in the comments, email me at craigatcof(at)gmail(dot)com, or on Twitter @CraigatCoF, or use WhatsApp (email me and we can set it up). Thank you so much, and enjoy the show!

Nah, you know it will always be played as long as Reeves is with them.

      Delete
    2. i know, and i'm going to love them anyway ;)

      Delete
    3. Yeah, me, too. And when they play an encore like the 1st one tonight, they can play it 10 times in a row and I won't mind. :)

  30. We are scrambling for food at 2 am in a local bar, but just quickly, the venue was packed full, the band was incredible, so full of energy! The opening bands were great and the crowd was very into the show. Robert sounded great and I have to say same deep water was insanely, epically beautiful. More later :-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. And i have to say cold has never sounded better.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm so so so sorry to say I did not! *cries* My camera chose that exact time to sieze up. I was missing the song because I was trying to make it work, so I just gave up. I had to pull the battery to force reboot it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh well. Hopefully someone did. Better to take the song in and experience it, than to fumble with the camera. You made right choice. :)

      Delete
  33. There were a LOT of cameras there! I'm sure someone has it. I did get a lot of other great stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Congratulations Chile, you had the best LatAm setlist so far!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nice setlist... Robert really screws up the words on Mint Car :D Otherwise they seem to be in good shape.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Amazing show and the first encore was perfection. I could not have asked for anything more. (Unless they played just one kiss, too) ;)

Everything was perfect. The company, our location, our view of the stage, and the setlist. It was...simply elegant.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ps I filmed tape and open ill get my video on as soon as I'm home. Which is sometime tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Now that is an encore to die for.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Am I the only one who would prefer Dressing Up being removed from the setlist in favor of Piggy In The Mirror?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I also hope someone will make some pictures of the crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  41. No way there were 50.000 people at Estadio Nacional, 40.000 people looks more correct according to my evaluation.
