haven't gotten my ticket email yet.
just got back from the taping. we got in line an hour before the show-up time. i had both a camera and a phone in my big purse, but they don't really check. think i met andythecurefan (who's #3 in line), and blueheron? and her husband sean from slc. saw that girl from italy whom i see often at cure concerts. she was in the first row. the band played the 3 songs listed to a screaming crowd. robert seemed like he had fun too - at the end he bent down with his hands and touched a few fans before leaving. think he also said "we'll come back again..."

i know you all keep saying its not supposed to air till the 18th but i did a search today to set my tivo to record and it says they are on the 19th. can anyone confirm this? i will tivo both nights just in case.
well the taping was for 2 days worth. i think the cure is on thursday evening but since the show is late late late night the calendar would show the 19th (friday).
Pixie: The show airs late at night on the 18th, technically the early morning of the 19th.

anyone know what song carson played on his 'desk stereo' or whatever in the first few minutes when he mentioned they were playing on the show?? its bugging me, i dont have the new record and liked the phrasing of the hook...tell me please, fans!!!

weird. maybe the phrasing was different live. it was on in the other room when he played it the first time, watched it up close etc etc ok...if you're sure.
ok i got it. its the chorus. ...i kinda hate the verses... but that chorus is amazing ("you're the only i die for etc etc") it reminds me of 'christmas' by the who in a weird way!...anyway thanks. i checked every other song on youtube tonite cuz i thought it wasnt the one they played. ain't that always the way? anyway, i bought the song on itunes just now. thanks.

Just watched the live feed on TV...probably the best rendition of that song i've seen....got teary eyed at how well it was done...BUT i saw the girls in the camera frames and they wern't even singing....im not a stickler like that at all...i check this sight probably 3 times a day...but come on...if you are front row you need to sing AND dance...but whatever..im sure they had a great time which is all that matters...! This band is eternal! i got a new phone after the jimmy k. waiting incident btw! haha....love you all! go b-sides! "Pink dream"

oh wow, it looks shitty on YouTube. at least mine has better color. either way. yuck.
im having trouble putting the whole file today. i ripped the recording to VOB then converted to AVI, then used an AVI trimmer to clip commercials. now i have 4 video files i want to merge together as one, but every time i do it, there's no sound.

i'll just post all video files and if someone can put the pieces together and upload, that'd be great.

Craig - i'm having megaupload.com send you the link when it's done. i'd love it if someone can put together/join all the AVI files together to create one. i know how to do it, but for some reason it's coming out with no sound. however, the 4 individual files do have sound. The 3rd clip is currently the one on YouTube on my account. Reason I want the rest is cuz that's when you really see us COFers in the audience, during the show. It's only a 20 minute show without commercials, so why not?

It's really the best performance of all the TV shows IMO. They sound great and I can't help but get all giggly when I see Robert sing! He just so damn cute! :)

i know it's not just The Cure, it's the whole show. I wanted to know if anyone can merge all 4 clips together without the sound being cut out. I typically can merge things but every time I do these 4 clips, there's no sound.
I want the whole show because COF peeps can be seen.
