ReplyDeleteExcellent setlist so far!
ReplyDeleteWhat a show! What a crowd - so much more energy than in Paris and Robert seemed to really have fun! See you next week in London!
ReplyDeleteAny updates on Robert's voice? Has it improved since the early France shows?
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd say it has improved. Though it seems that the "safe mode" is still on at times.
ReplyDeleteBut... these were my last 4 concerts this tour - and I had a blast.
Thank you Portugal, thank you Spain - amazing audiences! Thank you The Cure for such perfect concerts!
What else could we ask for? Yeah, I know. New this, new that... but tonight I choose to be very happy we got this mind blowing tour.
And hello to Secret Squirrel, one of my fav childhood cartoons :)
great HOTD based set.
ReplyDeleteRoberts voice was fantastic. I particularly noticed it during End.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone catch the lyrics change in Play for Today? An entire verse with different words ending in something like "And the world just goes on and on the same?"
ReplyDeleteThe Spanish public are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing i need to say about the audience. I have never been in a show where people talk so loudly during the show. Yes they went mental for the pop songs but come on it was almost rude the way people kept talking and talking. Also i have never seen so much selfie taking during a show. At least around where we were standing. Also next to us someone was playing chess on his phone during the show. For real.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dream setlist! When I saw Radiohead in Barcelona it was the same with the audience, talking loudly and screaming along during the hits. That was very frustrating since Radiohead did a quite gig.
