    1. This must be the third random setlist prediction I’ve come across in the last 1-2 weeks that nailed it.
3 for 3…not bad. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Cure fans are incredibly prescient.
If fans were to place bets on the setlists (sort of like sports betting) the competition would be fierce!

  4. I always love it when Other Voices is in the set list!

  5. Best show of the tour so far, five relatively uncommon tunes in the set. By the end of the tour they will probably have re-introduced most of the songs played on the North American leg. Except Same Deep Water and Drowning Man probably. Although I'd love to hear both.

  8. I was so hoping I'd get to hear Bloodflowers in London. Now that it's done it seems doubtful.

I just don't want another The Top related set because the last time they were in London that's what we got.

But I can't deny those The Top t-shirts were rockin. Still part of my regular wardrobe and still get compliments.

  9. At long last, a Bloodflowers-bookended setlist, including three Euro leg tour debuts. There was a list compiled from the last show showing songs played on the US tour that haven’t been played on the Euro leg. OOTW, Other Voices, and Bloodflowers can now be scratched off the list. This should satiate some of the naysayers from the last few shows(?) Or maybe not…for some, it’s Never Enough. The gluttonous piggy is always hungry for more. The more you spoil the piggy, the more it wants/expects/demands. Now that the piggy has a taste of what’s possible, it will always come back for more, much like a stray cat returning for more handouts. “No good deed goes unpunished!” OINK.

On the other hand, if one of the shows is dramatically “better” than the others, it will potentially upset those unable to attend that particular show and who are keeping tabs on how the setlists compare to one another. “Rewarding” fans of one show with a particularly exceptional setlist while playing a “standard” setlist at another show will no doubt alienate a number of fans. This presents a bit of a paradox, since there is no way to completely satisfy one segment of the fan base without potentially pissing off a bunch of other fans. A potential workaround is an incrementally changing setlist, which appears to be the case here. The only exception to the above is the final show(s) of the tour, since expectations will already be high.

    1. Well I think every show has been 'rewarding' to the fans. I don't think a fan has reason to feel pissed or alienated with these shows. Of course, every fan has different taste and different favorites which would include singles too believe it or not. Even with this 'exceptional' setlist you could complain they didn't play either of the two new tracks for example or no Last Dance, Trust, Jupiter Crash etc. The performances have looked great though they are clearly not just going through the motions

  11. setlist diff to Prague:
    - A Night Like This
    - End
    - One Hundred Years
    - Open
    - Sleep When I'm Dead
    - Step Into the Light
    - The End of the World
    - The Lovecats
    - Trust
    + All I Want
    + Bloodflowers
    + Charlotte Sometimes
    + Closedown
    + Other Voices
    + Out of This World
    + The Hungry Ghost
+ The Last Day of Summer

Most similar to Copenhagen and Lodz, but not that close.

  12. I think on one of the nights in London they will play a Bloodflowers bookended set. I wouldn't mind some Top related songs as I missed the Apollo gigs, I'd love to hear Piggy and Bananafishbones again live.
