ReplyDeleteI missed out on the MySpace shirts : ( There must not have been many at all. In fact I had no idea they even had them until I saw the photos. Oh well. The posters were cool and numbered 1-450. A nice collectors item : )

Brian, don't feel bad, the special myspace shirts like Kel had were NOT being sold, they were staff-only. There were a FEW lucky peeps who got them.

ReplyDeleteWith the shirts we only got them b/c we were the last to leave the upstairs VIP the Main security guy chased us down and ran across the street to give them to us. Only Staff had them - not sure how many made it past that other than the 4 that were given to Yvonne, Zyla, SG and me.

Sofia sorry to tell you but I asked Mike directly about anything on the East coast and he said NO. Once they are done in LA they go home. They plan on taking a year off (after the awards stuff in a few months) but should be back for a tour in two years. I assume its for the dark album which is completely done according to Porl.
ReplyDeleteMY guess is they take the year off then get back together to practice and then release the LONG AWAITED Dark ALbum followed with a Tour. It would be silly for them to release it any time before then b/c they are all to tired to tour again this soon.

And thanks KelBel for telling us some of the info you found out about the future of what the Cure might be doing in the upcoming years. I say might because with the Cure you never know what can happen, things do change!
ReplyDeleteOh well looks like we have our answer East Coast Cure Fans. No Cure on this side of the country. :( It's too bad they are not coming out the the East Coast this holiday season. It would have been so cool if they did. Maybe some time in the future but I kind of feel that they will be taking most of 2009 off but hopefully 2010 will be the Dark Album & the Dark Tour. The Dark Wishful Thinking Tour!!!
I really would rather not wait two years for the Dark album. Fingers crossed it comes out sooner. Mabey in April 13th (4:13) a dream will come true??
