See what I did up there? Clever! : )
Here's a nice review from Indie London, and Stereogum has their usual type of review.
Freakshow to premiere on BBC6:
"i just heard on bbc radio 6 that they will premiere the new single this friday the 13th at 8:40am (UK time) on the Shaun Keaveny breakfast show. she talked about the new singles being released the 13th of each month until the new 13th album is out in. she seemed genuinely enthused."

Oh so clever Craig!
ReplyDeleteAll hail Craig!
ReplyDeleteNYers!
ReplyDeletetrilogy is on MSG 27 right now on time warner cable!!!
yay for the updates craig!
ReplyDeleteim really ashamed about that stereogum review, it was poorly written. buzznet bought them, but nothing on stereogums improved - just a bunch of hipster snobs.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletethe cure is too "passe" for vapid hipstery Stereogum.
ReplyDeletenever mind the cure helped spawn a lot of these hipster bands.
Nice one, Craig!! :)
ReplyDeleteso the Robert Smith fangirl hit-squad has managed to start posting hysterical defenses of this atrocious song on negative blog reviews comparing the song to the band's easily forgettable old b-sides from 20 years ago? don't strain yourselves. there'll be plenty more negative reviews coming in; after all, you can't polish a turd (but can we PLEASE get some more cowbell?). at least the b-side to this current single is better, even if it's largely generic, also forgettable altera-rock. "oh, it's the cure experimenting again on freakshow!" give me a break. the cure has changed their sound many times over the years, and not always for the best. then again, some people probably love shit like The 13th, Hot Hot Hot, and other tunes of the funky bunch.
ReplyDeletedavid, but why don't you tell us what you really think? stop being shy.
ReplyDeleteand while i'm here i'll tell you what i really think...
ReplyDeletei DON'T think the b-sides from 20 years ago are forgettable at all.
i'd like to hear what your favorite cure songs are so i can bow down to your superb taste which is obviously better than anyones here.
...obviously.
David: I think it's a pretty solid, fun, and overall great song. Sorry you don't like it, but I respect your right to your own opinion and don't see the point in ad hominem attacks against people whose opinion differs from yours. :/
ReplyDeleteEveryone's entitled to their opinion, but it never fails to surprise me how many Cure fans rush to justify to themselves every single song that the band produces. Must be one of the least critical fan bases out there--and no, being critical is not a bad thing when it's justified. At least Sleep When I'm Dead will be a solid single after this one. Freakshow is thus far the weakest song on this album, but the others are considerably better, so I still have hope.
ReplyDeletenow that was a much nicer tone, david. i respect ANYONE who can impart their opinion in a calm, constructive way. but when you launch a nasty personal attack like that, you have to expect a nasty attack back.
ReplyDeletejust because some of us like the song doesn't mean it's in FACT a bad song. it means that subjectively speaking, we like it. subjectively speaking, you don't. fair nuff. but to call people who like what you don't uncritical is just silly.
i happen to love freakshow, and happen to loathe "critics" like stereogum who are fashionably sardonic but offer nothing of real substance. negative reviews are FINE; it's all in how you phrase your critique.
sorry, craig, for descending into a bit of nastiness. i won't do it again.
And for all we know, SWID will suck. I wasn't blown away by it in Austin, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteAt any rate, I suppose my opinion of the song deserves no further comment, as I'm surely not going to change anyone's mind. I'll go listen to Underneath the Stars again to wash out my ears.
ReplyDeletei happen to be a very objective cure fan, david. i said i prefer AKOS over freakshow. please don't make wild sweeping generalizations. it's very unbecoming.
ReplyDeleteHey, Craig and other fans, are the single CDs limited edition, and is it worth buying extra copies?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I must say, I was not impressed with this song at all from the live performances, but damn if it is not a great studio track....
ReplyDeleteLove Porl's guitar on it....Hmm, that is becoming quite a trend :)
David, I'm very critical of The Cure -- at least a year after an album's release -- but, from first impressions of live stuff -- I think it's fairly good at least. And there were only 3 responses.
ReplyDeleteAny fan base is going to react that way, and it's understandable.
Hi, Wyatt! Thanks for all the reports. :) I am with you on "Freakshow" - I expected to not like it at all based on the live experiences I had with it, but I was instantly hooked by the studio version!
ReplyDeletehi well i know there are a lot of people that like or dislike any song of the cure , for example i dislike AIRLOCK i think this song is awful but however i never use the word "HATE" and i realize that everybody use this word many times, so i know there are 50% that dislike THE ONLY ONE AND FREAKSHOW and attack them as your worst enemy, so i challenge that anybody take his guittar or his piano and compose any better than robert does.and then give it to robert and say him "robert my song it better than yours so i want that you play my song in your next album because i am real composer not like you" or if anybody fell that can compose 300 songs and keep for 30 years saying good stuff, just do it, i waiting for that...so i hope your lear to respect to the cure or if you think that the cure does't capable to make up any interesting, move to another band and not post more comments here....so one more time i don't "HATE" when the poeple post a bad comment about the cure but guys watch your words cause everytime you do it hurts...
ReplyDeletethe cure see you this friday....
Craig,
ReplyDeleteI can do live updates from the show in Tampa. I tried to email you, but it seems like my emails are not coming through to you. Please send me instructions on how to send live updates. odemeulder at yahoo dot com.
If anybody knows how to get in touch with Craig, please let me know, too.
Wow, good old David must not be familiar with this site, as I dont' know anybody on here who has not bashed certain songs the band has done...
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that he can be so naive with his comments on the Cure fan base..
Hi Olivier! Craig will probably see your message here and respond - he's been on and off this evening. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks V-
ReplyDeleteSounds like you guys had some fun last night as well...I thought of all of you when RS and the boys were pulling out all the stops in of all places, Houston!!!!
I love Freakshow and I really dig All Kinds of Stuff! All the new material is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWyatt: We totally dug the shout out to the kittens! :) So glad you were able to go to such an amazing show! :)
ReplyDeleteHi JPX - glad you like the new songs! :)
ReplyDeleteactually, ram, i don't think there is anything wrong with saying you "hate" a cure song... i certainly HATE taking off, and intensely dislike/somewhat hate the only one. i think we should be free to express ourselves about their songs provided we don't personally attack others who don't share our opinion. that's what david did. i hate supercilliousness like that - as though, HE has the monopoly on cure opinions.
ReplyDeletewyatt and v, i too was kinda tepid toward freakshow until i heard the studio version.
and yes, it is AWESOME that the cure are experimenting a bit again, and the 13th and hot hot hot are kick-ass songs. :-)
love, hysterical fan-girl
I had a great time last night, met Boopadoo (very cool), missed out on meeting abrashtx by a few minutes, but spoke to her on the phone...
ReplyDeleteOnly downer was one of the girls next to me asked my to quit singing along out of key :( Damn, I know I had a bad voice, but that was a blow to the old ego...
wyatt: it's fashionable to be darkly cynical and personally rude toward others. there are cure sites for that kind of shit that david slung out at us.
ReplyDeleteokay, quite enough from me on that. back to hell's kitchen!
Yep, some of my despised Cure songs are Gone (probably my most hated), Strange Attraction, Never (sorry Jason, you shold not be a songwriter, but you are a hell of a drummer), Object....well, there are quite a few....But 100x more that I absolutely love...
ReplyDeleteI always think the beauty of this site is that people have different opinions towards Cure songs, but most of us still get along quite well. It's great to have people agree with you, but it's even more important to respect other people. You can hate any Cure song for all you want, but that doesn’t mean you're "right" or "wrong"; it just reflects your personal preference.
ReplyDeleteHmm...It’s at times like this that I feel my English just sucks...I can't express what I want to say very well. Anyway, I've seen enough forums that turn out bad because of people's attitude towards each other. The reason I keep posting here is that COF isn't that kind of place.
As for Freakshow itself, I STILL haven't heard its studio version and I can't say anything yet. :/ I do like the live recordings, though.
And finally, Craig, that IS a clever title. :)
Jenny: Your English is absolutely perfect! I was honestly surprised when I found out that you did not live in the States or in a native-speaking country. :)
ReplyDeleteErr, I meant an ENGLISH-speaking country. :)
ReplyDeleteHenny, your English is better than mine and I actually live in England.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks V! You're just sweet. :) I'm not a native speaker; my college major is English. And your comment makes me quite proud of myself, hee hee.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Andrew. Now that's quite a compliment!
ReplyDeleteJenny: Well, my college major was Russian, and you definitely put me to shame with your fluency. ;) You do a great job and should feel proud of yourself. :) :)
ReplyDeletejenny, holy shit, i thought your native language was English. you speak/write brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteand i agree with you about respecting each other regardless of opinions! COF is much better in that way. :-)
V, Your major was Russian? Wow. Is your job related to Russian in any way?
ReplyDeleteI have to say following COF constantly definitely helps with English learning (true!). Seriously, if I'm still in college, my essay paper would be about this site! ;)
Jenny: No, I haven't used Russian really since I graduated college 8 years ago. :) My degree is barely relevant to me anymore, other than a nice conversation piece. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Cat! :)
ReplyDeleteSo this means I can be a fake American on the net and no one would find out (though I'm not quite sure why I'd want to do that), LOL!
Jenny: You seriously could do that. :) Like Cat, I thought you were a native speaker. :)
ReplyDeletejenny, we're all fake here in america anyway. ;-)
ReplyDeleteso where are you from? you prolly said before but i forgot. sorry!
Cat, I see you like DBT... Hell, a woman who likes The Cure and the Truckers definitely falls into the "Cool as hell" category in my book...Plus I was drinking a bottle of water when I read RCF--(Robert's Cherubic Figure) after the show last night...I laughed so hard the damn water came out of my nose!!1 Than I was mad at you :)
ReplyDeleteCat, I'm from Taiwan, a sad little place that has a love-hate relationship with China. Judging from my experience, many western people don't know where Taiwan is...and I don't blame them. It's just a tiny little island where you can NEVER find a Cure single in record stores.
ReplyDeleteJenny: How did you discover The Cure? (You may have told us already, but I missed it if you did. :) )
ReplyDeleteJenny, I have several friends here in Dallas from Taiwan...Most are here going to college or grad school....All great people...So I guess I am one of the few who knows where it is ..
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it is not much easier finding new Cure singles here either ..
hey wyatt! thanks for your reports - you rock!
ReplyDeletei am very eclectic in my tastes. i love classic country and alternative country (like DBT), and so many types of music, really, from punk to metal to mellow to world music, and so on. i dislike individual bands, of course, but i am not closed to any genre, even rap, as long as it's good. there are very few good rap bands, of course. :-)
so yeah - DBT. i only have one of their CDs (it's a double, forget the name), but i really enjoy it. need to listen to it again. i do believe they are from georgia, where i live.
as for RCF - hell yes! he's got the boyish chub goin' and i be likin' it!
so the houston show was great, huh? damn you!
jenny, i know of taiwan, of course. i am sorry about the dearth of cure stuff there. did you try iTunes?
ReplyDeleteHi all!
ReplyDeleteI see a little discussion taking place on an off-night?
Cat, I have pretty diverse tastes myself and think my IPOD currently has around 20k songs on it, and I still have several thousand yet to load !!! Such a process....DBT is from Athens, well actually Muscle Shoals, but all moved to Athens....Pick up the new cd is you have not....it's awesome, Brighter than Creations Dark...However, I believe The Dirty South is still their best...
ReplyDeleteAs for last night, a great way to end my 2008 Cure show run (only 2)...I have been to every US Tour since the 87 Kiss Me tour in Seattle (my first concert ever...I was 13, my dad dropped me off and I went solo as I was visiting him)...I was such a naieve newbie that I left after the first set, as I did not know what an encore was!!!! I heard them come back on and I sat outside the arena on the side and listened thru the walls..Oh, brings back memories,,
Wyatt: I was 13 at my first show, too - my mom went to the show with me. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Fantac. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi V!
ReplyDeleteV- That is awesome...kudos to your mom....Don't tell anyone, but I took my little sister to New Kids on the Block when I was a senior in high school. Definitely gave myself a pat on the back for that one..
ReplyDeleteV, I always knew them by name as a teenager, but I've never heard their music. The radio and TV here never play their songs - they only play crap music. Anyway, I started listening to rock music several years ago (thanks to the internet). Around 2006, I heard one of their songs on this site called Last.fm, and got very intereted in them. The Greatest Hits was my first cure album (if you can call it an album) and A Forest did it for me. After that, I started listening to them like crazy. I spent roughly a year to collect all of their albums and practically listen to them every day, to the extent that my friends are getting sick of me. And then there's the HK show last year. I couldn't imagine my luck - to have the chance to see them live only after I got into them for barely a year! After seeing them, I knew I'd be forever hooked.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I've mentioned this somewhere else, but this is so funny that I'll mention here again: record companies in Taiwan always translate English band names into Chinese for promotion, and sometimes the meaning of Chinese title has nothing to do with the original one. I've no idea why they do that. Anyway, the Chinese translation for The Cure is The Freaks. I sometimes still call them "freaks" in Chinese.
wyatt, very cool. i saw them back in 1989 and don't remember a thing! lol.
ReplyDeleteso you were in austin also, right?
Jenny - LMAO! I remember that one but it still cracks me up! lol The Freaks!
ReplyDeleteWyatt,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that you know some people from Taiwan. :)
Cat,
I tried iTunes, but no luck. Not available here. I could be a misery sister with Mad Bob!
But my single should arrive in a few days. Last time it didn't take more than four days to get here.
No Austin for me, Cat...I lived it vicarioulsy thru you (great job) as did the rest of the geeks (Craig scolded me for calling them nerds...yikes) and kittens...I could not bring myself to stand in a line in the heat, nor eal with the pushing etc....I would have ended up in a fight, than my wife would have yelled at me, and that is all bad.....Sounds like a great setlist..
ReplyDeleteHowever, I was 2nd row in Dallas and had a blast..and Houston's setlist last night was a wet dream :)
wyatt, well, the standing in line wasn't as bad as i thought it would be... it was hot yes, but breezy-ish and mingling with cool people made all the difference! the pushing inside was the worst part, especially during the encores. there were so many drunk MORONS. i don't care to get drunk at a cure show. the cure MAKE me drunk! but the show was still worth all the suffering... although had the cure played much longer i might have had to ask to get pulled out of the pit, because i was hot, and getting crushed.
ReplyDeleteanother FU to the security who told us to "deal with it." I HOPE YOU GET YOUR RIBS CRUSHED AT THE NEXT LINKIN PARK SHOW AND THAT YOU DIE OF THIRST IN THE DESERT.
Jenny-
ReplyDeleteFunny thing about all my Taiwanese friends (is that correct?)..
Due to the Americans inability to pronounce names in virtually any other language, all of them have adopted American names that they use on a daily basis here....the funny thing is they are all the most common, basic names....Bob, Bill, Mike, etc....The girls are more creative...
wyatt, i will check out the new DBT CD!
ReplyDeleteso many good bands in georgia these days - have you heard deerhunter, black lips, snowden, selmanaires, or the coathangers?
another FU to the security who told us to "deal with it."
ReplyDeleteHmmm, sounds like he earned his money that night...Typical
Hey Fantac! :) I guess the translator saw Robert's make up and decided the name, LOL.
ReplyDeleteJenny: Last.fm is awesome! That is so cool that you were able to find The Cure that way. And lucky for us, you found COF as well! :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys make me remember my first time with The Freaks...
ReplyDeleteI was 14 years old and I saw the Prayer Tour at the Montreal Forum. My father had driven me over 400 miles to Montreal and when he picked me up after the show, I was deaf as an old man and I said:
"I know it's the first I attend but that was the best show I ever saw in my life!"
I must have Nostradamus-like genes because what I said then still stands! After seeing The Cure 4 other times, after seeing U2, Coldplay, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Live, Counting Crows and too many others to name, that first Cure show was definitely the best show I've ever seen and I don't think anything will ever beat it ;o)
I know and like Deerhunter and Black Lips. If you recommend the others, I will definitely check them out...I'm an easy sell and buy way too much music.. which is good and bad....Not enough time to listen to the all the new stuff, more or less my old faves...
ReplyDeleteWyatt,
ReplyDeleteYep, "Taiwanese" is correct. And we do have a tendancy to use common English names ("Jenny" isn't all that creative, either, but I'm sticking with it because someone special gave me this English name ;) ). I suppose that's because the English names used in our textbooks are all common names. Blame the uncreative teachers in Taiwan!
Fantac--That's awesome...Guess it really left an impression...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for me, I was a newbie to the cure in 87, having just gotten into them and only had Standing on the Beach.....I was in the 3rd level about a million miles from the stage...I remember bits and pieces of it, but overall not much..(will never forget the intro of Robert's lips reciding some japanese poem, or something)..However, I was much more prepared for the Prayer tour!!!!
wyatt, i buy too much as well, but there is a lot of good stuff out lately. i don't care as much for the new black lips although i do like it, but let it bloom is a masterpiece. deerhunter is just mesmerizing. they will tour with NIN soon.. did you know that?
ReplyDeletei highly recommend anti anti by snowden - very joy division/curey, and yet not shamelessly derivative at all.
selmanaires is in a category all their own - kind of 60s, kind of disco, kind of garagey - get air salesman by them.
coathangers may or may not appeal to you - punky vulgar girl-group. some of it reminds me a little of early cure, but the vocals are very different and rather shrieky.
Jenny, it works...as I, as well, would have never guessed you were not a native speaker....and it's always nice to have something special to remember....I have a ridiculous tattoo on my shoulder that I got at the age of 17...I should have had it removed years ago, but my mother drew it for me (after some serious arm twisting) and it will always remind me of her.....So no matter how stupid it looks, it shall remain..
ReplyDeleteV, Last.fm is awesome indeed! Do you have an account there? Mine is jennyhung. (Now, "hung" is my first name in Chinese. It has nothing to do with Simon or PHT. ;) )
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have found COF. This, and Pictures of You, are the two sites that helped so much during the first year of my obsession.
Wyatt - Well I was first introduce to The Freaks when I was 9!!! My older sister was into Close To Me and Inbetween Days at the time and I loved it all. But like I said before, I remember being shit scared of the fluorescent faces at the end of the video to Inbetween Days! lmao
ReplyDeleteWhen I turned 12, I was in France when Kiss Me was released and it was crazy over there! So I bought the tape and listened to it for a full month non-stop! Coming back home, I remember reading Ten Imaginary Years... I was addicted!
So by 1989, I was more than prepared to see them live! Maybe that's why it left such an impression...
Thanks Cat...I will start with the first 2 (good old Amazon) and will put the coathangers on the "need to check out on itunes first list" :)
ReplyDeleteI always appreciate recommendations......
Been fun....Time to attend to my 4 legged children.....See you all here tomo for the 1st FL show (I lived in FL for 13 years...It will be odd not seeing them there in person as I have seen every FL tour since 92 there),,,,Hope we get some good updates...
Fantac---
ReplyDeleteHow funny..My older sister also got me into the cure...although Inbetween Days was my favorite song off the bat and I loved the video....I also must have read 10 imaginary Years about 20x!!!1
OK, really going now...Night all...
'Night Wyatt!
ReplyDeleteFantac,
ReplyDeleteGreat story! You were a wise teenager :) Prayer Tour must have been phenomenon. I have some bootlegs from that tour and they are all fantastic. If only I knew the band earlier...
Night Wyatt!
ReplyDeleteJenny - I don't know if it's because we were part of it but that period with The Cure (Disintegration and the Prayer Tour) seems to hold a very special part in many fans' heart! I know for me, I have never felt this intensity at a Cure show. Visually it was stunning and the music was so intense and introspective... I always thought nothing could beat that but lately, listening to UTS has a similar if not stronger effect on me. It's amazing... I guess it's like Cat keeps saying... It's all about the music really. Because the music is back to a level I call brilliant, I'm more involved in my obsession! lol
ReplyDeleteFantac, I can totally understand. Though I didn't take part in that period, listening to their music from that time has similar effect on me. That is definitely one of my favorite Cure periods. And I love what we're experiencing now, with all the new songs and the tour - so glad I'm part of this!
ReplyDeleteWell Jenny (because it seems to be just you and I right now! lol) I'll say good night! Talk to you tomorrow during the show-chat!
ReplyDeleteGood night fantac! Talk to you tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteso who am i going to get to say hi to at the MSG and RCMH gigs? :)
ReplyDeletedon't everybody clamor at once :c
ReplyDeleteIt's lunchtime for me, so I am popping in very briefly!
ReplyDeleteCraig - Nice title!
Sofia - Unless something miraculous happens this weekend, I don't think you will see me in NYC - but I am doing some serious groundwork for next year!!! The Wishful Thinking Tour!
guess which song I voted for ???
ReplyDeletejewella now ( or back to) lisalovecat
Hey V, Elise, Cat, Fantac, Jenny and everyone else.
ReplyDeleteJust back from one of the greatest Cure shows ever. Sorry I had to lie about it, but if word got out, it would have been canceled. I'll write a review late tonight, where I'll inevitably call someone "sweat", but for now - UTS to open, B43, Figurehead in main set, and 3 encore sets.
E1 - Plainsong, Same Deep Water, Disintegration
E2 - OOTW, Maybe Someday, Bloodflowers
E3 - Charlotte, Faith.
Exhausted! No more than 200 people. Oh, and it was filmed too.
And RS says everything is good. Big hug after the show.
Simon knows about the Kittens too. Seemed shy about it though.
Pictures will be up a few hours.
i am about to throw up.
ReplyDeleteUm, WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
WHAT?!!!!!! Ok, I need details!! DETAILS!
ReplyDeleteBut in the meantime, I'll say that I'm really glad Craig made it out to one of the shows on this tour. He totally deserved to get a first-hand taste of what everybody's been talking about.
And I'm even happier to hear that there has been some kissing and making up!!
Thanks again for all your hard work, Craig!
craig, if this is true, i am terribly happy for you. i truly mean that. those setlist sounds tailor made for you. :-)
ReplyDelete*that* setlist, sorry. doh!
ReplyDeleteoh god, i'm dying! i need my own secret show!
Uh, before this gets out of hand, it's a joke. It's been a running joke for the last couple of nights. V and I were even making plans to camp out, get passes, go to sound check, etc. last night. All joking.
ReplyDeleteSorry guys. I watched Trilogy instead. : )
*leaves COF*
ReplyDeleteAw, now I'm sad. Mostly because that would have been great news, but also because I now have proof I'm a gullible fool.
ReplyDeleteROFL Craig!! You almost had me fooled there! This one's as good as the April Fool's joke.
ReplyDeleteCat, come back! Look, Boy I Never Knew in Houston:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O92BTo4Z7Wg
Craig - ROFLMFAO!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious!!!
Would have loved for it to have been true (for you sake) and for the sake of the Kittens - just imagine if Simon was aware of us!!!!
Aw Cat, you loved me yesterday, today I'm an ass.
ReplyDeleteActually, that seems about right. : )
*wonders if it would be wrong to respond to Craig's comment with "But a cute ass!"*
ReplyDeletecraig is adorable.
ReplyDeletecraig, to think you were going to shut this site down just a few months ago!
now you have to keep it going long after the cure is dead and gone.
COF 4EVAH YO!
Craig: You mean I drove all the way to NOLA and we went to the same show, and you didn't even come say hi to me?!?!?!? ;) Glad you had fun at the "show". :)
ReplyDeleteV - Well you were so "preoccupied" with Simon, I didn't want to interfere. ; )
ReplyDeleteCraig: Hmmph! *pouts*
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll let you use that excuse this time, but next time I'll take it personally! ;)
I'll never ignore you again V. I promise!. : )
ReplyDeleteCraig: Aww, I hope not! I'm going to hold you to that. ;) Detective V will not let you escape the same building that she's in without at least a cordial hello ever again!
ReplyDeleteOooh Craig, you are a trickster for certain... I almost bought it :D
ReplyDeleteYou're the best V! : )
ReplyDeleteSorry Rev. : )
ReplyDeleteCraig: :) :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess I'm going to go back to sleep now. Goodnight!
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams V! See you in Tampa. : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the ABINK video. I've replayed it a dozen times already I think.
ReplyDeleteCraig: Thanks - send me something nice with the Dream 13 machine? :) See you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely V! Dream 13 cranking up now. : )
ReplyDeleteGoodnight!
Isn't it great Rev? I love it!
ReplyDeleteNight, V!
ReplyDeleteRev, can't wait to get home and watch ABINK. Curse those work firwewalls!
Craig, I think it's beautiful. It's just so *heartfelt*. The Cure are at their best. Robert sounds so beautiful and sad. I love it.
ReplyDeleteROLFLMAO!!!
ReplyDeleteCraig - That was fucking awesome! I've been through more emotions in the 4 minutes it took me to read the posts in this thread than I had been through in 2008 so far!!! You are BAD!!!
Now people... What we will soon find out is that there WAS a secret show and Craig wanted to tell us but felt bad he had to keep this secret... :oP!!!!!!
And I bet Craig forgot to tell us that Robert dedicated A Chain of Flowers to his "good buddy Craig"??? he he
Seriously, good stuff Craig!
P.S. God it feels good to sleep in, doesn't it? Ah the little pleasures of life...
craig :|
ReplyDeletewe love you. please don't be a tease the way we are!
elise, The Wishful Thinking Tour! i love it. god willing i wont be here in another year but i'll travel anywhere for a COF reunion! :D
curegirl fans 4eva.
These songs Rock!!!
ReplyDelete
