ReplyDeleteand abrash - i never made it to the brewery either - well i did actually but i must have been early - didnt see anyone there. so i walked down the street and thats where i met julien with his ear pressed to the door listening to the soundcheck! and thats when i died when i heard hanging garden and out of this world!
julien is the coolest!!! come visit us julien!!! he bought my ticket and was my cure buddy for the evening! HARD CORE FAN TOO! i LOVE THAT! i LOVE going to cure shows with ppl that are as nuts as i am!!! and he came all the way from FRANCE to see the cure!!!

and i enjoyed having him next to me at the show - we hugged several times when they played several songs - charlotte, hanging garden, other voices (i think this was the first time julien had ever heard other voices live - so he was FREAKING OUT!!!) i was so honored to have shared the cure with him that night! he is awesome!
Sara - that would be great if you get to come to Oz - even if you only made it to the East Coast, maybe I could 'pop' over to visit you.

Non-Cure fans have such pre-conceived ideas of what sort of 'peopl' are Cure fans, they just would not expect such a nice, caring, respectful bunch of people.

ReplyDeleteSara - it depends on what kind of weather you like. Definitely not our winter (June) - spring is beautiful, but summer gets really hot.

i had a dream last night. several, actually. got up and wrote them down immediately, since they were so vivid. after i was done chasing some girl around this old decrepit house, through silent, spidery rooms unseen for years, we ended up in this incredibly bright green backyard. she pulled a picnic basket out of nowhere like a magic trick, and inside she had copies upon copies of the new cure album.

v, it was a little creepy but beautiful, in that faith/pornography sense. i don't think i listened to the songs, but i may have and not remembered. and i've seen that stuff before, the monkeybutt powder or whatever it is. i'm well aware there are people out to get me... ;)
