Official site updated

The official site has been updated with links to some videos. I think it's for the two MTV videos of Only One and Freakshow, but looks like they all have the regional lockout thing applied.

    The old site was great. When The Cure participated in it a lot...It was very personal...But when the new site launched, I sort of liked the whole Street Team thing, but now that's gone and no one cares anymore and blahhhhhh!

    Yeah, I think Tim's right.

    This is so fangirl of me, but does anyone remember from the old Cure website each band member's lists of things they liked? It was (seemingly) an all-encompassing list of stuff (like literature and music and cities and activities) and I LOVE LISTS and I LOVE THE CURE and crap, the two together were Just Like Heaven. I really wish the old site would just materialize.

    Remember Robert's Shrimp Curry Recipe from the first website? My girlfriend actually made it for me back in 1997-98 and it was excellent. I tried finding that recipe again without luck. I tried using "The Way Back Machine" but unfortunately, that recipe was not archived: http://web.archive.org/web/19971015164746/www.thecure.com/HALLWAY.html

    I'm not a big fan of the offical website. Nor am I a fan of the indecipherable dribble some of the "fans" say in the comments section.

    Damn I miss the old website too! I hardly ever go on the official one unless I see a new news bite here and I go to check it out. Never go there on a daily basis.

    And what's the point to post these links now when the videos are on youtube and only certain countries can see them on MTV. Makes no sense but then what does at MTV????

    It wasn't even Robert that posted on the site...it was "geffen". I guess the lack of CAPS should have clued me in sooner.

    Hopefully Robert surfaces soon and gives some thoughts on the tour, or better yet an HDNet update. I'm sure he's on a much deserved Holiday.

    Tim I saw it was geffen that posted that topic too! Typical lack of support from the record company not to post a link for all fans throughout the world to see.

    I think if Robert posted it, he would have made it available for everyone too see! I'm glad he gave some good vibes to craig for posting the links to the videos on the COF!

    cure-kitty, I don't even think had Robert posted it that it would have made a difference (dumb MTV proprietary BS)....wouldn't surprise me if they asked him to post it and he said "no"...he seemed quite over the support of the label when he gave COF a shout out...that may have been his way of telling them to "Fuck Off"

    Does anyone know how many more records they are contracted to do through Geffen? I can't wait to see what happens when Robert gets ALL control back.
