Okay, the Mojo review says three tracks were built from half finished demos from the 80's. I know 'Sleep When I'm Dead' is, and I'm guessing "Sirensong', what's the third?
The Hungry Ghost uses the riff from Vapour Trail by ride. That is one of my favourite tracks (albeit I have it on cassette and hence have not listened to it in a very long time) and I must confess it had nt struck me from the Rome playing.. I now look forward to trying to draw my own conclusions when 4:13 drops through my letterbox on (hopefully) Monday. I recomend anyone not familiar with Ride to look up Vapour Trail.
The review strikes me as pretty objective and positive. All this good press has got to be good news for us die hards. The pressure to tour again soon....
Hi, i sent that scan to Craig earlier, and yes MOJO'S december issue is out already, i was a bit surprised..i checked out Q magazine and their review will appear in next month's issue..i will endeavour to send a scan in due time.
Is no one else bothered by the fact that a major music magazine made a massive editorial blunder and printed in bold typeface that this is the 14th Cure album when everybody should know that this is the 13th...? We all know Boys Don't Cry doesn't count.
Flowers are one of the most beautiful signs of nature on this earth. On any occassion whether happiness or grief it is used to dislay either peace incase of happiness or the hope for peace in the future incase of grief :) Now in this modern era, thank to internet which has made it possible for us to deliver flowers internationally to our colleagues, family and friends anywhere from the world all from the one click on the mouse :) Thanks for the nice post anyways ...
