4:13 Dream $9.99 at Best Buy

Best Buy will have 4:13 Dream for $9.99 next week, and it will be in their ad this sunday. Circuit City and Target don't have it listed in their ads. (Thanks to Speedy1961 @ DVDTalk)

  4. I'd rather pay $1 more and wait for the shipping from Amazon.com than ever give another penny to Best Buy.

  5. I'll take the best buy advert to Walmart, they'll match the price there....if they have the cd that is...

  6. Hmmmmmmmmm tempting! I'm buying the CD next Tuesday on my lunch break but I'll get it at the Barnes & Noble store which is closer to my office then Best Buy. I'll pay the extra bucks to get the CD ASAP!!!

Besides I can't stand the boobs that work at Best Buy. Those guys were clueless when I tried to get the singles in that store!

  7. Hmm, I wonder if Earshot will match the price?

I fully expect to pay a little more to Earshot, but I totally support their awesome business!!! I figure I'll pay $15 for it.

  8. I had similar trouble finding the CD singles at Best Buy... When I asked one of the "boobs" if they sold CD singles the girl did not even know what a CD single was! She thought I was talking about a blank CD-R. Boob, indeed. Suffice to say, Amazon came through for me.

  9. I got all the singles and EP from Amazon. The only exception was TPB, which I got at Best Buy. But I learned it was not a single because it contained two songs! :)
Hopefully they know what an album is.

  11. Beachy: The Wal-mart website claims that they will not have the cd in-store, website only.

  13. I agree with previous postings about Best Buy...

When I inquired about the singles, I was told that "those aren't made anymore."

I have CD and vinyl on pre-order with Amazon, but I am concerned about the arrival time! The EP took DAYS to arrive...

  14. Craig at my local Circuit City, they don't even sell CD's anymore in the store! If they did then I would be buying the new CD there since it's even closer to my office than Barnes & Noble.

Kate-That's why I'm going out to B&N next Tuesday to get the CD so I'll have it the day it comes out. All of the CD's that I have pre-ordered in the past year on Amazon never came the day it was released. Always 3 to 5 days after that date. With some of the CD's I ordered, didn't mind the wait but for The Cure.....No Way I Need It NOW!!!

  15. And I would never buy a CD at Wal-Mart since I’ve always heard that they sell CD's that have been altered to remove any lyrics and even artwork that they see as inappropriate, vulgar, violent, explicitly sexual, or offensive. I’m not sure if they do that anymore but they did do that about 10 years ago. So if they still practice this form of censorship, you know the new Cure Album will be changed to suit their needs and I do not want my 4:13 Dream altered in any way!

  17. I would rather pay 30 dollars to my local record store (AKA in Philadelphia) than give a penny to Best Buy.

  18. i'm going to wait to buy the new cure til the new guns n roses comes out so i can go to best buy and get them both at the same time.

  19. You know, Best Buy does suck when you ask somebody in the store. But - you can go online and check on the day and reserve an item before you go to the store. Then just go to Pick Up in the store and get your CD.

You don't even need to speak to the geeks. That's what i'm gonna do on the 28th. If that fails, Barnes & Noble is my next bet. They also do a similar thing online.

  20. Ooops - meant Borders, not Barnes & Noble!

  21. Hey mike it's cool to see another Philly fan here. I'm up in KOP & there is no good independent music stores around here anymore. So I'm stuck with places like Best Buy. Where do you get your stuff at?

  22. I wonder which, if any, of the big boxes will be stocking the album of vinyl. Hastings, hopefully. Best Buy, possibly.
