  18. Guys if you missed out, keep refreshing for a while at least. Tickets will become available in small clusters as people drop out. At least that's what happened with the pre-sales...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Note that sometimes people don't go through with their transaction, so tickets might become sporadically available over the next 20 minutes

  59. grinderman, if you're still reading this... how does ticket collection work? I'm just a bit concerned that we can only pick them up 1 hour before the gig. if upwards of several hundred people all picking up tix and we have to be in before they shut the doors for filming?

is it possible to get tix well before the gig (like a few hours before?)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yes!!! Excellent news, Tony!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Call them, Diane! That's what happened to Tony and he just got his.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh, you are trying to call. Well keep trying! Do not give up!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ml68 - Yeah, I concern about it, too. I like to receive my tickets at least a few hours before the show.

    ReplyDelete
  64. wow, thank god I got mine in the presale as it sounds like it was a bit of a mess today! my heart sunk for you Irishcure until I read you got your ticket! Bet you were nervous as hell while you were waiting for confirmation!?!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Diane,

Call the switchboard and tell them you got cut off on the site while it was taking your card details. She will transfer you to bookings and you go straight onto the queue from there.
I was waiting about 15 mins in the queue but they had my order so fingers crossed you have a happy outcome like I did.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @ Never Enough yeah it was awful especially since I have flights and all booked and not knowing if I had the ticket for the gig.
Its a big relief I can sleep sound tonight (which I should get to now its almost 1:30am and I have a call at 7am :-( )
Hope we all get tickets thanks again to Craig hes a superstar.

    ReplyDelete
  67. as far as picking up it says this in the email from SOH. i get in on that monday and am going to get mine then.

The Sydney Opera House Box Office is open 9am - 8.30pm Monday - Saturday, and 2 hours prior to scheduled performances on Sundays.

Pre-paid tickets can be collected at the main Sydney Opera House Box Office during these hours.

    ReplyDelete
  68. ok, thanks for that xchrissyx...I got the impression they could only get picked up on the evening of the performance one hour before the gig, which seemed crazy!

Im flying in on the day of the gig so a bit nervous about getting them on time obviously...

    thanks!

    M
