Vegas getting ready for The Cure


"I work in Vegas and park close to the Palms Casino, I saw them at 5am this morning changing the sign and when I got back to my car at 2pm there it was." (Thanks Eric)

Reminds me of the last time they played Vegas in 2000 for the Dream Tour.

    by the way, yesterday there was a cure special on a local tv channel here in mexico, same old same old, biography, some videos, the usual, unfortunately i didnt watch it but my best friend is the host of the show so she told me.

    JC - yep, back in the land of Oz. I am trying to orchestrate a Vegas vacation, but it all hinges on works approval. fingers crossed.

    How is life in London? Did you have fun in Copenhagen?

    Oh, I have another question...

    Any chance at all that other North America - preferably east coast - dates will be announced?

    I really believe that I cannot go to Vegas, but I am so tempted. If I had other options, the situation would change!

    Kate--I've been thinking about the very same question too! We need a East Coast Date! I'll be unable to make Vegas but if they did something over here, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

    Come on Robert pretty please with loads of sugar on top come to the East Coast preferably Philly but I'll take any city!!! :)

    Speaking of Vegas during the dream tour, it seems like a million years ago. That was back before they started playing 100 Years regularly. I remember yelling "100 Years!" from my seats a million miles away from the stage. (Obnoxious, I know, sorry...). Apparently they heard it because during one of the singles (Close to me?) he sang the opening lines to 100 years. Strange.

    Monty: They played 100 Years at every show on the Dream Tour, in North America and Europe. : )

    Or were you talking about earlier tours?

    Craig, you're right, dream tour was 2000. My bad. I was thinking about the Swing tour--1996. Duh. That was it.
