Big Gig airs two days early

Remember that Big Gig special that was supposed to air on the NME channel this Friday? Yeah, it actually aired tonight. Here's a report: "NME Big Gig was on tonight, opened with Underneath The Stars and also played Shake Dog Shake, The Only One, Just Like Heaven, The Hungry Ghost, One Hundred Years, It's Over, 10:15 Saturday Night, Killing An Arab.

Also some great interview pieces with Robert, a couple of White Lies & Franz Ferdinand and 2 from Crystal Castles (unfortunately). It was on NME TV Channel 382 (UK Sky) - 2 days early - they always seem to muddle up the listings on music channels!" (Thanks Marc.)

Update: "According to today's NME which has an advert about it, its also on:
Thursday 5th - 11PM
Friday 6th - 12PM and 10PM
Saturday 7th - 5 PM
Sunday 8th - 3PM and 12AM
Monday 9th - 11AM and 8PM
Tuesday 10th - 4PM and 12AM"

    For those who missed it, it's still going to be repeated on Friday at 12pm and 10pm.

    According to todays NME which has an advert about it, as well as the times that AndrewV127 listed above, its also on:

    THURSDAY 5TH - 11PM
    SATURDAY 7TH - 5 PM
    SUNDAY 8TH - 3PM and 12AM
    MONDAY 9TH - 11AM and 8PM
    TUESDAY 10TH - 4PM and 12AM

    They are really flooding this thing on the schedules (not a bad thing).

    Two questions:

    1) Do you think due to NME holding the rights to this show meant the cancelations of the cinema screenings?

    2) Do you think each time the show is aired it would be a different set list?

    Always with the Crystal Castles hate... Crystal Castles suck live - I know, I have seen them - but they make some of the best and most creative electronic music out there. :^P

    i thought crystal castles were great at the 02 gig. it takes proper balls to put on a performance like that in front of thousands of jealous eyeliner-clad curefans.

    Well that's cool they are airing the Big Gig plenty of times but unfortunately it can only be seen in the UK I assume?

    So please someone tape it for the peeps who do not get the NME Channel! It would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS!!!!

    Don't know if anyone noticed this but one hundred years has been edited out of the daytime showings of the big gig?? Is is that scary??

    Paul: Yeap, I watched the broadcast earlier and both Shake Dog Shake and One Hundred Years were left out. The programme ended about 20 minutes early as well.

    On the NME.com front page there's a video of 'It's Over' from the Big Gig.

    However, they've cut out the best bit, where Robert went offstage and then ran back to the mic doing a weird dance and delivering the last line 'I can't do this anymore!' again.
