23 years of News, rumors, minutiae about The Cure
At least RSX is now pressing to sort this out. I am surprised at this only affecting 500 ticket holders though. I don't see what else can be done unless RSX offers a free gig to all those in the "frozen DB" - which is not that "frozen" considering AEG managed to send emails to all concerned!
Spot on...i can trace all those 499 people myself ..i have their emails!!!
lol PM!It seems "Trinity Street" has been having "issues" for quite some time now... I feel confident that Robert will find a fair solution for the fans who've been shafted. <3 to all the people who've been screwed by the TS assholes.
In all fairness the credit crunch is the one to blame...shame people will loose their jobs....but the way it was told to the people concerned was slack at best....
Of course the "global economic downturn" is at the crux of this problem, but the fact of the matter is that TS has been having problems for awhile now. They should NEVER have sold these tickets in the first place. It's not like you wake up one morning and realize that your business is bankrupt. I'm sure the execs of this company knew well in advance. Sad for the employees though...
The fact that Robert gets involved is what makes him so special to me. It's wonderful that he's retained his ideals and I'm grateful that he tries to protect us. I'm very glad he managed to avoid the bonus track thing in Japan on the last album.
Wow... I realize that there must be many people scrambling, for many reasons. This entire situation reeks.
Good ol' Robert.Doesn't seem to catch a break often these days... Could something work like a charm, for a change?
Hopefully he can get our names form the emails and send us something special????I am thinking of suing AEG over data protection breach which they have admitted.
The BBC has also picked up on this here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7901509.stmNothing new, but hopefully more awareness = a better outcome for those affected.
LMAO perfect murder!more sign of the shite times.i hope this doesnt happen again :(sympathies to everyone who lost their money, tickets, and definetly -jobs.
