I heard about. To be fair, I prefer this to a cover that is actually butchering the song; at least this is just a sample and some of the melody; Robert's lyrics are mostly safe!
Check this link out from Pitchfork about how she spit on some guy at a club because he was protesting her after she insulted some guy who paid to out on a date with her. Crazy! http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/40407-sov-fights-donut-parties-with-playboy-helps-islands
Terrifying, to be sure, but mostly because it's not a genre of music I can stand... fwiw, it's kind of cool when people from all over the musical map appreciate The Cure. I think it's well done for what it is. I just really, really don't like what it is, heh. %^#
This is my new favorite song!
ReplyDeleteV: I've contacted my lawyer, he's drawing up the divorce papers as we speak/type. Just in case. ; )
ReplyDeleteI made it 9 seconds before running off and drenching my ears in acid to ease the pain.
ReplyDeleteCraig: I see how you are! :P
ReplyDeleteNothing original or tasteful about this one.
ReplyDeleteV: Aww, I would never! *Hug* : )
ReplyDeleteA song never made my ears bleed before.
ReplyDeleteUntil this. Here and Now. With that song.
