Vote for The Cure

You've done a fantastic job on the Greatest Front Person poll, but now The Cure needs help in the Greatest Rock & Roll Band Ever poll. Click here to automatically vote a 10 for The Cure. And click here to give Oasis a 1. (Thanks Cure_Kitty and Rev. Heron)

Update: And the voting for the MTV EMA Headliner category is open, so please vote for that, too.

  9. I think I am just about voted out. If some lunatic Oasis fans want the Knob Gobbler to win sooooo much - then let them have it.

Our boys are nominees for MTV Headliner of the Year - I don't see Oasis anywhere on that list!!!

    Suck on that, Knob Gobbler!

  10. Thanks for posting up my link Craig. I hope it helped out with The Cure's rankings. They were not even on the Top 20 List yesterday and now they are up to #6!

    Keep on voting Cure Peeps!

Here's a link to vote 1 for Oasis!

  13. I've posted this multiple times, but seriously, the shortcut links DON'T WORK. The only way for the vote to go through is to take the long way around and vote through all the options. Otherwise it's just not going to work.

Craig, you might want to let people know that the shortcuts don't work. I've tested both ways and the results only show change when done in the regular voting method.

  14. hell:

I spent an hour refreshing and watched the polls go up. both of em. now maybe it was just coincidence but when I left for and hour and came back the poll had only changed .01 points. when I was refreshing the poll changed .09 points after about the same hour period. ??

  15. The direct links HAVE worked. No idea if they are still working.

  16. It's coincidence. I've had people say that they clicked a hundred times and Robert's rating actually went down.

If you go through a couple of rounds properly and vote, you can see the changes occur immediately.

After five or so votes for Robert/The Cure/whichever you're clicking on, you should immediately see an increased score, but it doesn't work now.

  17. Besides, I think it's more beneficial to everyone at this point in time to focus voting on the Headliner act -- the other poll has no real weight in anything except maybe an article about the winner on the website or magazine. Let's get ourselves some more live Cure!

  18. Not that I condone or deny the use of it, but if you're using firefox 3, you can install this handy little item:

  19. Before I waste hours and hours of my life clicking the same three buttons over and over again... Do additional votes for the MTV headliner really count?

  23. Craig, what if you generally let links of current votings for The Cure staying on the top of the news-blog, so that they don't pop off to the bottom and get overseen and, maybe in their own area called "Vote for The Cure" or whatever and THEN let follow the latest news? Wouldn't that be much more effectiv if it were possible?
