  1. Great find, my husband is a tremendous lighting geek and he really enjoys analyzing out the various types of lighting / effects used in the show. We've been fans of Abbey Holmes' light designs since she's been with them. It's too bad that she left the Cure. We've been looking for an article on the lighting setup that they are currently using!

  3. Wow. I barely understood any of that. I never thought projecting sound and visuals was so complicated. I have to say the sound seemed much better on this tour than Curiosa; on the latter my ears were overwhelmed and I couldn't enjoy the sound throughout the entire concert; maybe it's because I was farther away, but I thought the sound was great this time, though Porl's guitar was way too soft and barely audible at all. The light show was gorgeous; Pictures of You was especially effective and much prettier than on Trilogy.

  4. Is there anything in there worth knowing about? I must admit, a magazine entitled "Lighting and Sound" is about as interesting to me as a magazine entitled "Insurance Seminar Weekly"

  10. Isn't this at least the second time The Cure's setup has been mentioned in either this magazine or a similar one? I vaguely recall something popping up during the Dream Tour.
