    So here's what happened to me. At my first attempt I got a ticket in the FRONT ROW section 101 seat one Row A!!! Not bad!!!! I wanted the pit, but hey this is as close as you can get to the stage and still have somewhere to sit down.
    Then just to see if I could get a pit ticket I tried again - about a dozen times it was giving me worse seats but then I kept trying and a PIT ticket came up....
    wooooooooo-hoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Anyone want to buy my other ticket in the front row????

    I went and looked at where my other ticket is on the map thingie and it's on the aisle in the front row - kind of like the best seat in the house (if you don't want to stand in the pit.)

    Okay I am getting kind of confused here. I bought general admission, floor, no chairs. I did not see anything that specifically said pit. Did I buy the wrong tiks because I'm reading people saying theirs actualy say pit. Or am I misunderstanding?

    kiss I would try General Admission with Best price first, then if that don't work go for Best Available. If you are buying more than one ticket I personally wouldn't try to buy one pit ticket at a time or you may end up sitting apart. That's just me though I don't know everything

    According to the Pearl building specs found here:

    Seating Capacity:
    Arena floor set-up is only 390 with an additional 1723 fixed seats in the theatre style raked floor, mezzanine, and balcony. The floor of the theatre is 3,294 square feet of open space. All 17 bar stations throughout the theatre are completely out of sight from the stage on all levels.

    Also:
    Capacity: 2240 W/ Seated floor, 615 Balcony, 900 Mezz, 730 Floor, 264 Boxes.
    2400 W/ GA floor

    There are many diagrams, if anyone would like to interpret the "GA/pit" capacity

    Technically speaking, I could afford to go to this show, but I have the money slated to go toward a new camera and a decent lens for it, and as much as I might like to instead use that money for concert and plane tickets, this thing is a potential money earner for me, So I really can't.     Great info Kate!

    I saw a few shows at The Pearl and it's a good venue. No matter where you sit, you get a good view but the pit is the best.

    So enjoy it COF Pit Peeps!!! The pit at The Pearl Rules!!! Nice to see it will be one big COF Party.

    OKay so my friend said that when she called the first time the box office was closed so she spoke with some random guy. The guy said he thought the floor only held about 100.

    She just called the actual box office right now that they are open and they said about 700.

    So 700!

    jilly---I was able to get mine in with no problems but they do post the 'No Cameras Allowed Rule" at all entrances. Just take something small or use your cell phone if it has a camera, you should be ok with that.

    Looks like i'm not gonna be able to afford this. I'm dissapointed. I knew they would do another date in the U.S. after they announced Coachella.
    Maybe they'll do something else before heading back to the UK?
    Hoping to see them live and in concert again somewhere soon. I need my fix. Have fun all those in London tonight and those going to Coachella and Vegas. I'm sooooooo jealous!

    All this talk is making me think I should bite the bullet & go to Vegas? I’m in the same boat as shawn & spcdesigns. Should I charge the trip? I could go but then that's adding another $1000 or so to my ever growing CC debt!

    No I can’t do it. I’m already spent $600 bucks (and will spend more) on a big trip to NYC next month to see another band. The only option I have left is playing the Powerball Tonight! It’s worth $150,000,000 & it might be the only way I can go to the show if I won. Like that’s ever going to happen! LOL!!!

    Never mind my babbling, I’m just having a pity party for myself. Tell me to shut up if you want too!!! Hopefully later in the year or next year there will be more Cure events to go to.

    I pulled floor tix, too! Couldn't believe it. This show is gonna be AMAZING.

    Fellow travelers from the east coast, take note: I picked up an EXCELLENT RT fare on Virgin America from JFK to Vegas nonstop this afternoon.

    Is there a good comfortable bar in the Palms where we COF peeps can meet up? I don't plan on lining up terribly early if at all. The front is usually too crowded for dancing!

    Pit tickets are definitely still available. When I searched, it gave me three of them. I almost bought them, but I'm going with my parents (I turned my parents into Cure fanatics) and my mom's back probably won't last that long (little does she know, you don't feel pain when you see The Cure live). But I want my family to have the best experience possible, and worrying about getting close is definitely stressful.

    Hey, I had to wait a long time until I was over 21 :).

    I think the band went to clubs when they were younger, but I don't know about now. There tends to be some sort of an after party, and since the hotel is a perfect place for that, you never know.

    Either way, since all us Cure fans are in the same place at the same time, it could be fun to meet up.

    vegas is very strict with I.D.'s.


    i read that you can't line up early until about 30 minutes before the door opens?????? and that security sux and it causes mayhemm when the pit opens

    you would think these venues would have this line up thing down pat my now. Vegas 2000 hardrock show - made us wait in line outside. 12 hours in the Vegas heat, no shade, hit 120º, water was $3 a bottle. numbered hands is allways a good idea. be polite, if you know somebody stayed out longer then you then dont push in front of em.

    yeah so I don't really see the point in lining up early to get on the floor unless you're trying to get close to the stage but I'm not the kind of person that needs to rush the stage, I'm sure anywhere you're standing on the floor will be close enough.

    you know what's wrong with scoring that killer spot right infront of Robert? 1. An inconsiderate tall person decides it's ok to push their way in front of you and stand there looking all innocent 2. You have to go to the bathroom and 3. You need another drink, but you're wedged in there so tightly getting out will be hard and getting back to where you were impossible

    love, have you ever been at a concert where you swear that one of the band members is staring at you the whole time? I don't know idf it's an optical illusion but I swear that keeps happening to me. Like during the last tour I always seemed to be in front of Porl and I swear he was starting to recognize me plus come onto me with his suggestive stares
