i feel like this should be shorter. let's minus the biographical crap, one should already know if they're on COF.
ReplyDeletedon't be unlovey andythecurefan, I'm sure there's some people that insist on all minutia in it's entire-tia
ReplyDeleteI'm soooooo there!!! Seriously! But are the higher priced tickets for standing or seating...??
ReplyDeleteI for one feel very officially informed. For example, I'm going to the Cure show I'm going to the Cure show...... I HOPE!!! thanks to cough! That other web site ClearMyThroat sucks
ReplyDeletelol
I assume the $154 tickets are for standing.
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, where do they get off charging outrageous prices for entertainment? On the other hand, the band is (mostly) playing to a middle-aged audience that now has more money in life, speaking in a general sort of way. And if I know Vegas the venue is probably all new state-of-the-art showplace with SuperAccoustics(TM) I bet the sound quality will be killer, and in a small venue.
i called them and they said the $154 tix are standing
ReplyDeletealso the guy said that they havent set a limit yet but he thinks it will be 6-8 tickets per person
ReplyDeleteThose tickets are quite pricey but it costs that much because the Pearl is an overpriced venue at an over priced hotel/casino. The Palms is so overrated too! I've been there before and it's not cheap! It's the favorite place for all of the hip, young Hollywood Types.
ReplyDeleteStill the Pearl is a cool venue and I'm sure for everyone who gets tickets will have a spectacular night.
yeah did you check their hotel room prices? On the night of that show rooms START at $259 for the most basic room.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile though you can stay elsewhere for cheap that's easy in Vegas
Wow $259 for the cheap rooms, too much for my budget too Paul. You're right, Vegas is loaded with decent hotels that have way better prices than that.
ReplyDeleteCool beans! Thanks for clearing that up for me. WHOOOO!!! I'm so excited! Hopefully, the audience will be better than the standing audience in Santa B. I swear I was the only one dancing.... Oh well..
ReplyDeleteI was standing in Santa B too!!!
ReplyDeleteand I was dancing alright, so I'll see you in Vegas Crazy Thing
just called ticketmaster and the guy said 8 ticket limit! now lets hope there are some pit tickets in the presale!
ReplyDeletecheaptickets.com for 160$/per night at the Palms Friday and Saturday nights....
ReplyDeleteSara K
The info is up now in the Official Site.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see CURE´s keep on adding live shows.
I hope more to come.
;(
154 $??? for this band/line up???
ReplyDeletei think everyone in the audience should get 154 $ as smart-money.
but seriously: robert, please stop touring, release the last bunch of the deluxe editions and enjoy your retirement. :-P
Whoa, ticket prices!
ReplyDeleteWow, not that I could go even if it was free, but they've never charged anything close to those prices, have they? It's not like they'd make any $ in such a small venue anyway, so I'm thinking they are just trying to cover their costs.

Why post here if you hate The Cure so much? This lineup is great. You clearly haven't bothered to actually see any of the shows, so buzz off.
