Cure press conference today in Paraguay

'
Here's part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4

Here's the audio recording. Thank you, @AaronLaw92.

Robert Smith (after someone gave him a hat): "I've never worn a hat in my life!"  Hmm, then what's this? Thanks, @mlindenuk. Oh look, another one! Thanks, Perfect.Murder. And how on Earth could he possibly not remember this one? Thanks, @glovestudios. This is exactly why Robert hates the internet. :)

Addressing the ugly situation that happened a couple of days ago in Brasil. Roger says it's in the past. Robert confirms he wasn't there. It was Simon, Roger & Jason. Roger said it wasn't an assault. It was an attempt to steal from them. Also said it did not color their opinion or love for Brasil. Robert said it happened on the trip from Rio to Sao Paulo, but he and Reeves were on a bus, separate from the others. Robert says it was a very colorful incident, to which Roger laughingly replied "It's very colorful."

    1. Scheduled before any of that nonsense started. It was listed in the same stupid article that listed the bands flight & hotel info before they even arrived in Paraguay.

    1. That's too much conspiracy type talk for me. If that wanted that, there are other ways to do it. Safer. More controlled staging.

    2. You are owed nothing.

Apart from overrated nonsense like 'social networking' the digital revolution has also provided 'TEH HARDCORE FANS' with the ability to steal music. Why not do that if you begrudge him his royalties?

Is it any wonder he has no interest in the social side of the internet? Maybe he doesn't want to deal with people who have an over-inflated sense of entitlement and the continuous blather of obsessed geek nutcases.

  21. My favorite part of the interview.
Roger saying about the "assault" - "It's not true" and then Simon saying "it's not?" and then Roger and Robert cracking up. :)

    1. I know! So funny! Roger was trying to keep it private, and Simon ruined it. :)

The whole thing had me cracking up. Some of those expressions on Robert's face! :) I think you can tell he would have rather been anywhere but there. :)
