  2. Snow in New Orleans?

I saw this movie a couple months ago. And now New York is going to freeze over, tornadoes are going to tear up Los Angeles and Dennis Quaid is headed for New York to save the less desirable of the two Brokeback Mountain guys. :)

  3. Wow that's cool craig! I'll be getting some tonight in Philly but not enough to have any fun with it!

  4. I read that title about 4-5 times and I was still convinced that the "n" was a "h". :/

Nice for you to have snow though :) don't get any here :(.

  5. Hey Beau!
Funny how I haven't been on-line for weeks and you're the next person to post after me! How are you? I hope you're doing good and not too busy getting ready for the holidays.

So it doesn't snow in the UK? I've always seen movies based in the UK where it snows but everyone I know from there says it never does snow. Oh well it's not all too good, it's a pain to shovel & drive in it but when it falls it looks so beautiful!

  6. wow! how lovely, hopefully we see some here in Mobile too! Snow and Cure tv all on the same day would be amazing!

  7. @Cure_Kitty - Depends where you are in the UK really, i've had tons of snow.

Craig, what a coincedence you managed to find someone had written 'The Cure' in the snow! ;)

  8. Hey Cure_Kitty :). I am good thanks, i've done all my work for this semester in uni so I can relax now for a bit :D. Although, not too much because I have exams straight away in the new year :/. However, overall I'm very good thanks :). How about you?

It does snow quite a bit in the UK but it never seems to snow in my city :/ We're too near to the sea apparently. lol It snows about once a year here, although we haven't had any at all this year. I actually asked GF out in the snow :).
Does it snow where you live? Hows life treating you?

  13. So what happens down south when you get a couple inches of snow like this? Does the whole city shut down and stuff? Because I’m guessing that when you live in a city that sees snow once every four years, the city budget probably doesn’t have a whole lot set aside for snow plows. :)

Are the local weather folks going crazy? The weather people up here LOVE to play out the worse possible gloom and doom scenario. They use terms like “crippling snow” and stuff. Kinda funny.

  14. yes the city DOES basically shut down DA. at least in houston this morning - it was.

the roads were icy - so they just blocked off the entire highway!! so there was traffic for days!! they just basically blocked off the road and waited for the ice to melt!! INSANE!

  15. the day just gets mazier...cure tv, snow in NOLA, and it looks very likely that the body of the missing little Florida girl has finally turned up...

  16. Yikes Christina! I hate dealing with that kind of mess. I just know one of these days I’m going to snap and just put my car in park…Then get out of my car and start smacking on the windshields of all the people that I have deemed an idiot driver.

Is that legal? To smack people’s cars without causing damage? That should be legal because I would really enjoy that.

  17. You want some snow, Craig? I got too much up here in Montréal already.

  18. Enjoy, it Craigers.....before it turns to slush or ice and pisses you off as it always does me. :(

  25. Elise,

You and your bad puns! I think that's why I love you so much!! :)

  26. That is so cool, Craig!

Even here in DC, snow and ice shuts down the city. It's funny!

  27. You guys can all take some of our snow! We got almost a foot in Wisconsin on Tuesday!

  28. Shouldn't it be, "The Cure rock"?

    ReplyDelete
  29. JPX: I'd say The Cure is a singular, collective noun, not a plural noun. So rocks works. :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ok, so rocks works, but would rock work too if you wanted it to?

  31. Is V an English language nut? A girl after my own heart.

You let me know if there are any dangling prepositions you need some help with.

(wonders if anybody notices the irony)

    ReplyDelete
  32. DA: Yes, I am. Though I have no problem with either dangling prepositions or participles. ;) Thanks anyway, though!

And the irony is not lost on me at all. Heehee. :)

Hi Beau! Glad you’re doing good & relaxing a bit from school! I’ve been quite busy for a while and haven’t been on here & other Cure Sites much lately. Work has been crazy busy & I’ve been taking care of a sick Grandma. But all in all things are good & I’m now busy getting ready for the holidays. I’ve got to go out & do some more shopping tomorrow.

With the snow it’s the same here in the states, doesn’t snow much near the ocean but where I live some in Philly, some winters we get a lot & some nothing much at all. Lately it’s been not so much but I hope this winter we get some decent snow fall. And it’s so sweet you asked you GF out in the snow! Got to go now, watching Leno so take care!

  37. So lucky Craig!!! Enjoy it while you can. I wish it was snow or at least RAIN here!
