Toadies cover A Forest

"Toadies have a new CD called No Deliverance. Only came out a couple weeks ago. The bonus track only available on iTunes is A Forest. Here is a link to a youtube video someone made for the track." (Thanks Jim)

  1. Hmm. I like it. I think it respects the feeling of the original, while still adding their own flavor to it.

  2. I like it. I remember when the Toadies used to play TCU's Battle of the Bands in Ft Worth. They came in second two years in a row and then stopped playing in them. I had a class with the original guitar player. Todd worked at a Sound Warehouse I went to a lot.

  8. Yes Craig. Not a big factor in Waco. I had plans to drive to Ft Worth today for TCU football game, but decided not to risk it.

  9. I remember seeing them play at the Fry Street Festival in Denton, TX many years ago. I am still a big fan of the Toadies. They did an awesome cover of this song!

  12. Decent cover, they did it well and with their own style that didn't take away from the original.
    I always liked this band.
