    Like Reeves and Roger, Jason is tired of not being able to create new music with The Cure, so he's doing his own stuff. Good for you, JC!

    he's the hardest working member of the band ...
    drumming for 2-3hrs straight must hurt the next day
    (playing guitar all night ain't hard)
    (its FUN!)

    Sorry, maybe that's the clue? What if Jason is secretly a jazz drummer who has been in The Cure for almost twenty(!) years now. Maybe that's why some feel a disconnect with the beats?
