  2. PONY AND BUNNY ARE NEARLY NECK AND NECK! 57 Pony and 56 Bunny. HA!

RSX needs get his butt in gear and settle this once and for all!

  3. Am I imagining it, or does the singer in the background music of this trailer sound like Robert? http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/new-disappointing-trailer-for-the-spirit-gets-leaked.php

  4. *cackles wickedly*

I can't wait to be proven right by RSXXX.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I reckon it sounds like a mix between Robert and Billy Corgan

    ReplyDelete
  6. You are sooo evil sometimes, Cat!

    Don't change

    ReplyDelete
  7. Everytime I make a comment the pony numbers go up. It was even and now it's pony leading again by one. *looks askance at V, Craig, and Elise*

Someone out there doesn't like me and more importantly, DOESN'T LIKE BUNNIES!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Thumper was always my favourite.

I have nothing against bunnies in general, in fact, I normally despise horses - but this time I have to make an exception

    ReplyDelete
  9. Bunny! Bunny!
CCat: your sense of humour is the best!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Anyway, Cat - why are you looking askance at me - I have no power in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  11. So Elise, you are anti-equine and yet voted for pony? And who says you have no power? You are the mighty ELISE! You RULE THE WORLD... well, the UNDER world anyway... and who knows, maybe we're all wrong and Robert is really saying "give it to the kangaroo in the outback" and we're all just deaf.

Hey Jupiter! :-) We need a sense of humor to navigate this insufferable world, doncha think? That is what I like about this song, actually: it's weird comical sense...

PS How do you all like Robert's HARE these days?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Cat - I voted Pony cos it IS Pony.

I am not a bunny hater - who could hate those wascally wabbits (aside from Glenn Close, maybe)

I like the way you think though, maybe it is "Give to the Wombat"

Hope you are glad to be home

    ReplyDelete
  13. "Robert's HARE"!!!
Cat, please stop! I can´t take it no more, it's worse than torture!! My abs are killing me!
(please read the above as: carry on! don´t you ever stop! it's not the same without you!)
    :))

  14. In response to JPX, I don't think it sounds at all like Robert. (Or Billy Corgan for that matter)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Alright Bunny haters.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrhvZdbpnm8

I'm sorry but, watch his mouth very closely peoples!

I thought it was strange that FUSE decided to edit the "fucks" in all of the songs on the broadcast (with a swish sound) but for some reason, they didn't edit the "fucks" out of his monologue.. WTF?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Helsa - no DOUBT that Robert says Bunny in the Fuse version, but in the studio version it is definitely PONY!!! IMO anyway :)

    ReplyDelete
  17. naaaw missy, methinks they both sound the same!
I have super special hearing (like superman), plus I play the piano... I believe I'm right on this one. :P :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow - the piano - your superpowers have persuaded me.... I'm gonna change my vote right now :)

but then again, piano sounds a bit like pony - so maybe your powers are telling me to stick with my original belief.

    yikes! I'm confused

    ReplyDelete
  19. nyaaaah... well, it doesn't have to be a “piano pony". Why can't it be a "piano bunny"...?
And your fingers have to swiftly bounce around on the keys like bunnies too, sooo....

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah, in Fuse it is DEFFO BUNNY, and while Bobby might be prone to flubbing lyrics, I think this is one of the rare times that he is singing the correct original lyrics.

Helsa, I found that weird too regarding censoring the f-bombs in the songs but then leaving them intact in the monologues. "Fucking amusing" if you ask me.

I guess they just don't "cotton" to profanity in songs.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Maybe Fuse didn't have their "rabbit ears" peeled for swearing during conversation - they probably weren't expecting Robert to actually say anything

    ReplyDelete
  22. PS Elise, I am glad to be home, as I have tons of stuff to do before school starts next month, but in a way, I am sad to be home, because that means my fantasy-life is over. I had such a good time this summer attending five Cure concerts, one Tom Waits concert, and traveling to France. I was immersed in a fantasy-world of concerts and travel, and now it's all ceasing to be, and that sucks bunny turds!

But oh well... back to suck-ass reality! And really, I exaggerate... it's not so bad! There has been a lot of crime in my neighborhood while I have been gone, though, so that's kinda scary...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Elise, how is your life these days?

  26. My life has a huge hole left by the 4tour :(

For a while work filled that void (and was super super busy), but things have settled down again and have had time to become aware how much the Cure and my Cure buddies filled my life for a short time.

To add to my reality check, my hubby has decided to chuck in his job. Life is grand. No wonder I like this fantasy world so much ;P

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love, love, love, Down Under!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Elise, one of the ways I "fill the void" - besides writing, reading, listening to music, watching movies (essentially anything related to the arts) - is volunteer work. If I could devote my life to it, I would, as it is what brings me the most joy in the world. I do a bit of work with the homeless (mainly park feedings) and it has been a life-altering experience. It angers and frustrates me that there should be ANYONE who is homeless, and that our economic system is so oppressive - and so I channel that rage into something constructive. We're not solving the problem, but in doing what little we do we ARE interacting with people JUST LIKE US and affirming the humanity of each of us. I could not live with myself if I didn't do something like that - and believe me, I would like to do so much more. I'm not boasting, either - what we do is a very humble exercise.

Point being: Working with the "less fortunate" (and I hate that fucking patronizing term) can really take you outside of yourself and beyond the petty realities of everyday living.

    ReplyDelete
  29. On a completely unrelated note, has anyone heard the new Clinic album? Fucking fantastic! I saw them last month (or was it two months ago?) and they were DA BOMB. Seriously a great band! I would love to see them open for the Cure...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Helsabot....you are right. He says BUNNY on the Fuse version.

I changed my vote to bunny.

This is so fucking hilarious I can't get enough.

Who'da thought I'd be amongst the bunnies? I was dead set on pony.....sorry ponies. MSG - he clearly says BUNNY.

    ReplyDelete
  31. And again you surprise me, Cat. I wish I could do what you do, but I find myself overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. I know that every bit helps, but I find it difficult to take that first step.

I still do fundraising for the Cancer Foundation (have done since my hubby's diagnosis in 1996.) I'm also the secretary for the fundraising group at the company I work for - we pick two charities a year and have fundraising events throughout.

    ReplyDelete
  32. BUNNY IS LEADING

    ROFLMAO... the Puny Ponies SUCK!

    ReplyDelete
  33. wow, elise, awesome! you rule way more than i could ever hope to. sorry about your husband...you have mentioned it before and i temporarily forgot... a thousand apologies...

i just think doing something for others is what makes life worth living. it's why i love art so much... writing for others, visual art, and music, and movies... these things bring meaning and purpose... and helping others, complete strangers, even, is part of that art, IMO... we are so manipulated by media and leaders and so on to turn inwardly in a thoroughly unhealthy way...

elise, i hope your husband is coping well...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cat, your powers of perception are extraordinary. The hubby finally went into the office today after taking a week off - i'm very gald about that as i was a bit afraid he was hiding from the world.

Sadly, my creativity is fairly limited, but i do like being able to affect people's lives, even if it is as simple as a random act of kindness - even just a hello can make someone's day.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Cat, re-read your comments - just in case I haven't mentioned it before the hubby has been in remission for almost 9 years - so all is good on that front.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well Best Buy in Greenville, SC sucks. They don't have any of the singles.

    Calling FYE......

    I hate the mall.

    ReplyDelete
  37. FYE in Greenville sucks too.

    They don't carry singles....PERIOD

    ReplyDelete
  38. CG2 - that's awful!!!!

*sends good vibes to the universe for Caterpillargirl2 to get her single*

    ReplyDelete
  39. i am glad your husband is back at work, for even though we complain about work, it can lend purpose to our lives, and it can strangely help heal us - if it's a decent work environment, that is.

i am very doubtful you lack creativity. we are ALL imbued with creativity... it is an inextricable part of who we are! you just have to locate your creative outlet. for me it's writing. if i didn't have my writing i actually could not bear to live, melodramatic as that sounds. and i also think doing some charitable things as you do is very creative... you're using the life force in a constructive way. to me the "essence" of life is joyously connecting with others, be they friends, family, co-wokers, strangers. I am not always in a joyous mood, true, but don't you find happy intersections with others one of the more compelling things there is in this world? so yeah... you're creative, elise, you just need to tap into it! trust me - it's there, in abundance! i feel it in your words, and the sweet way you express yourself. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Earshot in Greenville, SC has it!!!

    I'm headed to Earshot.

    www.earshot.com

I told the guy I've called everywhere in this city and he's like, "Well, you should have called here first." We love The Cure here.

    LOL! Thank God!

    ReplyDelete
  41. caterpillar, did you ask him whether it was bunnies or ponies?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Elise and Cat, you make me laugh. :)

    (GO PONY)

    ReplyDelete
  43. No, but I'll be sure to ask when I'm there and get his vote in for you.

I'll risk looking like an idiot just to find out.

    ReplyDelete
  44. CG2 - he'll risk looking like a fool if he chooses Bunnies!

    *wave at V*

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hi Elise!! :) How are you?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm good thanks, v.

It's always good on a Tuesday night as I know I don't have to go to work tomorrow.

I'll be doing my grocery shopping tomorrow so will be sure to pick you up some yummy treats.

BTW, no I haven't got any twinkies yet :(

    ReplyDelete
  47. Elise: Email me your address, and I can fix your Twinkie deficit. :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. thanks for the offer, v, but i think there are some twinkies already winging their way to me - i don't want to get too many, i'll end up the size of a house. maybe, you can send some when you finally receive my parcel.

How's work going? did you meet your deadline?

I love deadlines!!! i love the sound they make as they go wizzing by :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. My husband is MEAN

He called a second ago and asked what I was going to do today and I told him I was going to get the singles. (I don't have any yet because I couldn't decide if I wanted to do the itunes thing or have hard copies.)

Anyhow, he's like "Why don't you wait until the album comes out." I said - "I need them for my collection, besides the b-sides won't be on the album"

He says "Download the b-sides of Limewire."

Um yeah - that's what's wrong with the world today.

Okay - I have downloaded music from limewire but if there is one band in the world I want to be successful - it's The Cure.

If they see the sales rise on the charts......if they see that people want more music....then maybe they'll come back! I know I can get it for free, but honestly it's not that expensive and it's the principle of it.

He told me I was obsessed and hung up on me. Dorko. He'll pay for that later. Grrrr.

    I'm ranting and rambling.....

    ReplyDelete
  50. Elise: Okay, well if your postman happens to eat all of your Twinkies before they make it to you, please let me know. :) I want to make sure you get some!

Work is crazy. Yes, I met my deadline. Luckily for me, that deadline moved around a bit before finally stopping permanently on yesterday. I got my changes in at the end of last week, so I somehow ended up being early!! :D Don't know how that happeend, but whew, what a relief.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Pony or Bunny?

I understand the "debate" but frankly, has anyone dared to raise the fact that either don't quite make any sense? lol

Hi all btw! It's been a while... I kinda became a lurker snce the end of the tour! It's so great reading you guys ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  52. When I first started working in projects, one of the guys that I was working with told me that getting your project in on time and under budget was 'better than sex' - i told him 'he obviously wasn't doing it (sex) right' :)

That said, it is a nice feeling when you successfully implement a change.

I cannot believe that your parcel went missing - yours was the very first parcel I sent!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. You know, I am not aware of the technical terms but doesn't it seem liek these singles are mixed at such a high volume? It sounds distorted when you turn them up- even on my iPod. I love the symphonic souns on Down Under but the volume is so high that it is taking away from it a bit...I don't know if I am describing it right.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yes, it almost certainly is bunny. But before you start all the self-congratulating on converting me, let me say that while pony/kick makes more obvious sense, RS is just not that predictable a writer. I think that bunny/kick has more of an RS logic to it, and it fits within the context of the song. Changing my vote now. :^P Sorry pony camp... heh.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Not anymore... I changed my vote. :^D

    ReplyDelete
  56. Maree - no!!!! comy back to the pony camp..... please

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hello from Germany! It's about 5:00 PM here. Weeee!

My copy of SWID is sitting on my doorstep waiting for me to come home. Yay!

    See you later!

    ReplyDelete
  58. My apologies to those whom my defection injures... but I must follow my conscience. :^D

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ah, I thought you had already changed it.

bunny is now in the lead by 4

    ReplyDelete
  60. It is clearly "bunny" on the msg version..

but it was clearly pony on the album version.....

still, seeing the fuse video again closely caused me to change to bunny, sorry elise.

    ReplyDelete
  61. *bottom lip starts to tremble* everyone is leaving me :(

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm sorry, hon!

I really don't give a rats ass what he says.

I just think the depate is too damn funny.

    Plus - I love a good argument.....

    ReplyDelete
  63. maree, exactly! In the world of "RSX logic" a kicking lapin makes way more sense.

i got the single and have listened and turned it up way loud! i really don't get the naysaying about this song... aside from the fact that it doesn't, god forbid, merely rehash every song from disintegration (big YAWN), i don't see the issue at all. is it the cure's greatest song ever? perhaps not, but then you can say that about many cure songs past and present!

besides, when i compare these three singles to the last batch of cure singles, the current ones mostly come out on top.

eotw vs. the only one: eotw is one of my fave cure-pop songs, so i do prefer it slightly to only one, but only one is a delicious gem nonetheless.

alt.end versus freakshow: alt.end is not horrifically bad and indeed sometimes i even like it, but freakshow is quirkier and livelier, period.

taking off versus sleep when i'm dead: there is no contest here at all. taking off is shitty cure-pop rehash, and swid is vibrant and rockin'.

so unless you are excessively mired in the past and relentlessly compare current cure music to stuff from the 80s, i don't see what the deal is at all. these are great songs ON THEIR OWN MERITS. sure, i compare too, but i don't *compulsively* compare. i try to listen with fresh ears as much as that is possible.

anyway, rant over. i love the cure.

    ReplyDelete
  64. But, Cat have you changed your mind? Pony!!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. PLUS: When compared (again) to groups who started roughly around the same time as The Cure, again they kick anyone's ass. U2 ceased being artistically vibrant back in the 90s (Pop was pretty good, I thought - for a U2 album, anyway) and REM just puts me to sleep now. The Cure, at least, change it up on each album... how many bands out there can do WMS, then BF, then The Cure, then this one? They all sound so different! U2 and REM.. the SAME SAME SAME... YAWN

okay, no more procrastinating... MUST CLEAN

    ReplyDelete
  66. elise: NEVER! even if RSXXX declares it to be the Evil Equine (which he WON'T so keep dreaming), I will ALWAYS be a Bunny Brat!

    And guess who's winning?!

    HA! >:-]

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cat, go and do your cleaning!!!

I'm off to bed.... catchya soon.

    ReplyDelete
  68. it's a bony pony~

    RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    ReplyDelete
  69. it really is a shame that robert says there won't be any 'officail' video releases for the new sigles. they are leaps and bounds better than the 04 singles and they are getting tons of airplay in central VA!

i think these could be wonderful if they had a video to run on Fuse, at least!

    ReplyDelete
  70. i didn't mean 'be' wonderful - they already are that!. i mean 'do' wonderful. as in the charts. and i also meant 'official' and not 'officail'. ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Cat -- REM's 'Accelerate' puts you to sleep? As for sounding the same... listen to their last two albums and THEN tell me they sound the same....

Sorry, disgruntled REM fan over here.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Pony, no doubt about it. : )

Anyone else think Robert is deliberately holding back the lyrics this time? He's enjoying the bunny/pony war too. : )

    ReplyDelete
  73. ROFL maree! Brilliant!

Craig, how can you be so sure?

If it's pony I will go live on a bunny farm and cut myself off from the internet FOREVER.

"Give it to Peter Cottontail" is what I'm sayin'! And the poll proves my eternal infallibility.

    ReplyDelete
  74. sais qui sensure toute les discusion ? etc...vive la liberté d'expresion!!!!!!!! je croyais qu'ont vivait dans un pays libre!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Cat: How can I be sure? I have ears, don't I? Any rational being can hear that he says PONY. : )

    Plus, V assures me it is P-O-N-Y. Therefore, it's a pony. Sorry. : )

    ReplyDelete
  76. CWC - you're a trip girlfriend.

    A trip and back. :)

Maree - love the bunny pic! LOL!

I want to retract my vote completely.

On the album it sounds JUST like P.O.N.Y. On MSG live - it sounds like bunny.

I don't fucking know. I'm wanting to hang with Plainsong out in Switzerland.

Robert - you are a funny guy if you're holding out on us just for kicks. LOL! Hasn't this gone on long enough? You do speak very clearly, dear....but holy shit! Ponies, bunnies, chickens. I'm gonna end up at the funny farm, myself.

    ReplyDelete
  77. tyler, sorry - i don't mean to dis your fave band. at one time i really loved REM... they have some GREAT songs that I still love, but their newer stuff hasn't quite moved me that much, and even so, The CURE, IMO, have always been better... more sprawling in range and so on. I mean, can you honestly say that REM could indulge such a diverse output as The 13th, Where the Birds Always Sing, Lost, Freakshow, etc.? And those are just the songs in the past decade or so). I mean, to do Porno and then turn around and do such cheesy pop-fluff as LGTB... it's just baffles the mind! REM have never been so diverse as to actually sound like different bands sometimes (save Robert's voice... but then you have H&J and Club America...). Anyway, it's not fair to compare them as they are two different bands completely... the point I am making is that The Cure is vital because they "change" their sound up more than other bands...

    ReplyDelete
  78. my copy just got here - deffo 'bunny'

    ReplyDelete
  79. maree - thank you for the best laugh I've had in a week : )

    ReplyDelete
  80. Craig, DUH, I meant how can you be so sure Robert is deliberately "holding out" on the lyrics and not simply on extended holiday in, oh, I dunno, Dublin, HARELAND...??

    Aw!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Cat: RS told me last night that he was enjoying watching you get it so wrong. He wants to prolong that just a bit longer. : )

    ReplyDelete
  82. yeah, he called you on the commie phone, right? i'm gonna report you to homeland security, craig, you traitorous fool!

if it's pony i will move to cuba and bask in the last moments of socialism...

Che called me from the Great Beyond yesterday and said it was bunny - he's sure of it!

    Viva La Conejo Revolucion!

    ReplyDelete
  83. i accuse you bunny lovers of stacking the vote. you're asking relatives and friends to come and vote, telling them to vote bunny, not telling them what it's actually about. heathens.

    ReplyDelete
  84. This BUNNY/pony thing is really giving me a brain rash! Will this nightmare ever end?! I hear BUNNY, I say, BUNNY!
    Maree: GENIOUS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. sofia, yes, it's the mythical hybrid animal, Punny. he has big floppy ears and says "nay" all the time and you can even ride him! he hops, of course, which makes for a bouncy ride, but he looks damn good with a saddle.

    ReplyDelete
  86. MB: just go put on your monkey suit and STFU.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Eric - À quoi fais-tu référence? Quelle censure?

    ReplyDelete
  88. thought I'd put my 2 cents in...
    IT'S BUNNY PEOPLES

    ReplyDelete
  89. this song f'n rocks. It's on repeat in my brain.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The madness of it all!

    AAARRRRGGGHH! Waahaaaaahhaaa!

    Ok, but seriously....

I got my singles today, all three of them

Earshot in downtown Greenville is an awesome record store. Reminds me of Lou's records in Encinitas, CA. Vinyl, vinyl, vinyl. AND they had TWO different Cure shirts amongst many other band shirts.

Music dvd's....stickers...keychains...insense...a little room in the back that I couldn't visit since my kids were with me with "decorative glass" and porn.

    Neato place.

    And....I got my singles. :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. CPG2: Excellent! Sounds like a cool store.

    ReplyDelete
  92. cpg2 - It's great that there's still stores like that in today's sea of mediocrity!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I hadn't seen a store like that since I moved from Southern California.

I'm pretty happy to have found them :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Um, Criminal Records here in Hotlanta is the coolest place EVER.

    Link to coolest place EVER

I always try to support the local indies over the big bad chains... I do this for books as well. If we don't support the indie stores all we'll have left is oppressively generic chains who mistreat their staff and homogenize the world.

That said, today I went astray from my usual patronage of Criminal Records and went to Border's. ICK! But I did so because I wanted to purchase Lynch's brilliant Inland Empire and Criminal didn't have it. :-(

I am completely chagrined. At least I **usually** patronize the indies.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Cat: You only bought Inland Empire because of the bunnies. Admit it!

    ReplyDelete
  97. LOL! Um, er, yes...

    (bunnies?)

I actually forgot about them... only seen the film once but it fucked my mind and I can't wait to see it again!

Lynch + Lapin = Tasty flick indeed!

    ReplyDelete
  98. normally i'd get upset when someone tells me to shut the fuck up, but i've learned how to effectively tune you out, cat. in a tylenol plus codeine sort of way.

    ReplyDelete
  99. eh? it was a joke, mb. :-) you didn't get the monkey suit reference?

    ReplyDelete
  100. of course i know you were joking, silly cat. apparently my repartee was not as obvious as i'd wished. plus my broken thumb hurts, so typing is difficult.

    ReplyDelete
  101. excuse pour ma reponce très tardive j'ai dis qui il avait de la secure dans se que j'ai dis toute a l' heure (fuck bunny) ils avait couper mon commentaire
    !!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Ah, the Barefoot Executive. : )

    ReplyDelete
  103. The weather got warmer, so the old witch is back...

I'm totally digging this song; I recently listened to the official vid and am reasonably certain that it's 'pony'. However, in the Fuse version, it seems he said 'bunny'.

Alas, thanks to the intellectual property rights Nazis, we can no longer listen to fan recordings on youtube and perhaps get a feel for Robert's preferred lyrics. Fuckers! Did I say fuckers? I mean't MOTHERFUCKERS! May they get exactly what they deserve for denying fans the use of amateur, not-for-profit gig recordings as a simple diversion! >:-[

In any event, the Alchemist almost always does opposite of what I predict, but I'm still going with 'pony' on this one.

Btw, my dearest Cat, imo REM STILL rocks. Also, imo, they are one of the most talented bands to ever play a note. I'm sorry to learn that you think them soporific. :-(

  104. i don't find REM soporific, t-dork! i just don't like their current stuff as much. but perhaps i need to indulge another listen... just to be fair.

U2, on the other hand...UGH. their current stuff bites! i didn't like everything they put out in the 80s and 90s, but IMO Achtung Baby is a masterpiece (by U2 standards... when compared to the Cure it does not hold us as well), and I liked MOST of their 80s stuff (save Unforgettable Fire). Rattle and Hum is good in parts and IMO Zooropa and Pop are great in their way. But now... ICK. Can't stand them! I guess some people feel that way about current Cure too... which I don't quite get but anyway, to each their own...

Sorry, t-dork, to have misled you regarding REM.. I do think they have put out some masterful stuff!

  105. Glad we got that sorted out! :-*

Now, back to the drama at hand...

I think it's fairly likely that RSX lurks here. I also think he'd take harmless, somewhat perverse delight in keeping the words very close to his black, star-spangled vest (okay, shirt) for as long as possible. In other words, don't hold your breath.

  106. Since when does 'meant' include an apostrophe? :-[

Anyway, I see from another topic that we should cut Universal some slack since they didn't fire phasers and photon topedeos at the COF youtube footage. Okay, so they aren't motherfuckers, at least not today. :-p

  107. Man I LOVE this song!!!! Sure it's not as rocking as live, but man it's catchy. Can't listen to it enough.

Does anyone else think this song sort of has an Upstairs Room sound to it?

  109. Cat, dear, Craig's right -- perhaps we should not bite the fetid, festering, miserly hand that feeds us. Perhaps the day will come when Robert will free the band from corporate fetters and do as Roger did -- offer up the treasures via his own label. For now we are all at the virtually nonexistent mercy of the lucre-worshipping Ferengis. :-(

  110. I can't wait to get my copy soon! I went to the FYE store near me like craig suggested and I got such a runaround that I had to buy it from Amazon today! I should have ordered it on-line like I did before but I didn’t this time around thinking the stores in my area would have it out the day it was released! I was wrong again!!!

The Fucking FYE near me didn't have it out on display yesterday! I asked the dude in the store if they had it & he said yes but it's back in the stockroom. So I asked if he could get me a copy but he refused. With a shitty attitude, he said didn’t have the time to find it and why don’t I come back later in the week to get it. I told him I was going away a few days on business so I won’t be able to come by till Monday but he still said no. Like whatever shit for brains! Not sure if I’ll have the time to get it on my trip so I figured I’d just order it from Amazon since I’ll have it by the time I’m back from the trip.

I never liked that store and now I know why I never shop there. I knew that place would be a pain in the ass to get the CD!!!!
