  2. Thank you! It's great. This version is darker and stranger than the Berlin 2002 version. Hope to hear it in NYC!

    1. I thought it was more on point on Trilogy...they took more 'liberties' on this...it's still incredible tho

  4. Trilogy was edited. This was raw. And brilliant.

  5. A long time ago, this used to be THE number one song on my top songs I wanted to see the Cure perform live and luckily I managed to see them play it a few times so far, but this is probably one of the best performances I've seen. The tour is... I feel like Robert just lurked about on all the message boards and listened to what the fans were asking for and finally decided to make all our dreams come true.

well, not ALL our dreams because we've all been begging for a new album for nearly 8 years now...

    1. I had this same reaction when someone complained about the lack of Bloodflowers and it was played shortly ad

  6. I was there, they were awsome! Never was a fan of Bloodflowers but live the songs sounded really good. I wish they played more of their " exotic" stuff like the Top, Kiss me or Wild Mood Swings but you can't please everyone. It was all from very good to amazing.

  8. I think that dark and epic songs sound great with Reeves on board..."Cold" is another example. I'm hoping for more obscure cuts as The Promise, Figurehead or Siamese Twins...shows could be epic...

  9. RS must realize that creating anti commercial music he creates something great and timeless. Epic live, better than trilogy.

  10. The new "Fuji" video nicely captures this amazing performance, and provides wonderful close-ups at the end. Robert Smith is still so beautiful! Thanks to the Cure for giving this perfect gift of a tour to fans. I enjoyed my 10 shows! Never did anything like that before--completely life changing for me.

  11. The intro was starting and I could hardly believe my ears - are they really going to play Pornography???? It was beyond description to have finally heard this played live and played to perfection.
