    2. @Tony, I doubt it...the logical place would have been just before Manchester...but theres not much time to get all the gear from barcelona, on sat night to dublin for a gig on the monday ...ive got tickets for london, manchester and leipzig, ...its just itnwould have been nice to see them in dublin again...its been too long since 1996, and i feel sorry for fans who cant afford to travel

  5. I checked...Wembley has a capacity of 90,000 people. Is it possible that they are going to sell 270,000 tickets or do they do a condensed version / seating for concerts at Wembley?

    1. You're talking about Wembley Stadium. They're playing Wembley Arena. :-)

  6. You know, with all of these 2nd and 3rd shows added to various cities, I wouldn't be surprised if they were to do two Toronto shows, in which case, my bank accounts are going to be weeping again from the abuse.

    1. There's not room in the schedule for 2 Toronto shows. Not really sure what the hold up is. Someone earlier suggested Bestival? If that's taking place that weekend of the 12th then it seems like that's probably the case. Maybe they originally said "12th or 13th" in the event something fell through. The site just says the 12th now.

    2. Yes, there is. Two open days between Chicago #2 and Montreal.

    3. Shawn, no way they play 2 Toronto shows. That would be 5 in a row. It would kill them. :) The most they are doing on this tour is 3 nights in a row.

The Bestival Toronto rumor was what I heard. The original "12th or 13th" listed was due to them not knowing which day they were headlining. No idea if this is true.

    4. Just looked up this year's event, and if they stick to a Friday & Saturday schedule like this year, the Toronto show won't be Bestival.

  7. I can't believe I got standing tix on the first try. Amazing. Thanks to whoever recommended using the AXS site. So excited about this show.

  8. Well that was by far and away the easiest booking procedure for any of the U.K. Shows.. Standing tickets in the bag by 9:02..

Now just gotta decide if I do all 3 Wembley or sell my standing ticket for the first night..

  9. I love The Cure and I bought tickets of course - but I never thought of them having reached the "Depeche Mode Status" in terms of ticket prices, thats really hard to accept somehow ...

    1. what the hell does that even mean???

    2. Melt05: These prices are actually really decent. In recent years, UK gig tickets have skyrocketed. You'd pay £40-70 to see all currently big bands so £50 for The Cure is well worth it.

I've complained about the cure's prices before, most notably when they played the reflections shows but these 2016 shows are comparatively cheap.

    3. thats just part and parcel with the touring industry, globally. there really isnt a band that plays arenas, that can tour below certain thresholds. I mean, here in the States, i vividly remember only paying $21 for the Prayer Tour and $25 for the Wish Tour....ya know? its not just UK arenas and booking agents. Ive always thought RS was very fair in their pricing structures.

  10. Anyone want to do a straight swap for my 2 Friday night standing tickets for 2 Saturday night standing instead?
