  1. Jumped on the Miami sale right at 9:00 am, and there are supposedly no seats. Something's quite wrong here...

    1. I did too. Nothing at 9am, crazy. At 905 lawn seats which I bought. I decided to keep refreshing, and about 910 got section 9 row D. It's a complete scam, but it's Miami, so yeah

  2. Just now had some luck going for single reserved seats. A couple popping up in the back sections. Good luck!

  3. Curiously, I can get a general admission lawn ticket or the uber expensive platinum seats. What a joke.

    1. If you can't manage to find anything decent, I'll have a couple for sale (single seats) in SEC 06.

  4. Keep trying! I'm pulling tickets in Sec 5 & 8.

    1. And a section 6. All of these have been in the first 5 rows, so decent seats are available. Front sections might not be included in the presale.

    2. And now sec 7, so can confirm that tickets were available in Sections 5 - 8, all in the 1st 5 rows.

  5. I got two seats all the way over on the left. Not the best seat in the house, but at least not on the lawn. So I'll have one extra at cost on the for sale board.

  6. Was able to grab a couple seats in SEC 06!! Row F, which completely works for me. There were closer seats in section 5, but I'd rather be more in the center.

  7. Snagged a better seat (SEC 07 ROW C), so I'll be putting up 2 tickets from SEC 06 in the tix for sale section later today. Can't believe I finally pulled a good seat!

  8. I just got something closer to center too :-) so I'll have two tickets for sale as well. I looked on one of the reseller sites to see what tickets are already sold...it doesn't look like anyone has seats available for Section 2 (front and center). Maybe that means that section has not been released yet? Might be worth hanging out until the presale is done if you're trying to get up front.

  9. I have an extra ticket in Section 01 Row M for Miami on June 27. Details in the 'Cure Tour 2016 tickets for sale' section.

    1. I had the same problem. I had to buy single tickets. Hopefully someone will be cool and trade. I hate TicketScalper....

  11. Thankfully, my hometown show was the easiest to get tickets for. Got my GA floor ticket & checked out in 5 minutes. 5 for 5 on floor/pit tickets so far. Now to wait for the Houston & Dallas info.

  13. I just pulled 2 GA floor for UNO on the ticketmaster iphone app and there are still more coming up! Check there!

  14. Also just got GA for New Orleans, although in true Ticketmaster style there was a glitch where it wouldn't accept my credit card so I had to try someone else's...Let's hope I don't need that credit card to pick it up at will call :/

    1. It didn't even give me the option of Will Call, only expensive shipping or standard mail. I had to chose the standard mail for $5 more.

    2. Worst! I'm outside the US so that's my only option, wasn't offered print at home

      Delete
    3. They're not doing print at home for floor tickets. Not discriminating against our out of country friends. :)

    4. Well how nice of them! If anyone has any tips for New Orleans or if there is anything I absolutely must see while I'm there let me know please :)

  15. NOLA pre was stressful. Couldn't get 4 GA or even 4 seats! Kept trying, and after 13 minutes I got GA. Bring on opening night!

  16. HOLY CRAP!! I was in at the first second and I'm only getting offered Upper Bowl seats!!!!

    1. Keep trying! I'm still pulling lots of lower level.

    2. Was able to buy two in row 5 left of soundboard, but damn...I'm still hoping for floor. :(

Guess they'll have to add a second show the night before :)

  17. I had to buy 2 single seats... I hate TicketMaster.

  18. It took me about 45 minutes of constant refreshing, but I finally got 2 adjoining seats in Section 4 for Miami on the 27th.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I scooped up a single seat in SEC D ROW 8, before getting lucky with a GA ticket, so I'll be putting the SEC D ticket up for sale in the tix section later today.

    ReplyDelete
  20. so is it just completely random then? we are trying to get 3 GA tickets after finally getting in

    1. The pulling of tickets? Sort of. You can do Best Available, or be a bit more specific - floor, lower, upper.

  22. I got Section C on the lower level for New Orleans! I'm very excited. I'm just happy I get to be there.

  23. Any chance they withheld some GA tix for the public onsale Friday?

  24. The New Orleans presale did not go well for me today. All I wanted was 2 Floor tickets. I was logged into my TM account by 9:45 and ready to refresh at 9:59, once the on sale screen came up at 10:00, selected qty, proved i was not a robot (captcha) and floor never came up. It was a matter of seconds. So i kept trying for over 20 minutes and never could get floor, but presently there are 82 floor tickets available on Stub Hub and some on ebay for almost twice the price of regular tickets. How does this happen? I am gonna try again for the regular on sale. If that fails I will have to pay scalper prices to get floor tickets. This is so stressful! Wish me luck.

    1. Randy, just curios, how were selecting tickets? Did you do Best Available or actually select Floor in the selection box?

Never do Best Available if you are trying for GA floor or Pit, as TM almost always goes to reserved seats first, and totally skips floor.

There were a bunch of floor tickets available. I know I got them, and a bunch of other fans got them as well. Sad to see so many bought extras to sell at inflated prices.

    2. Craig, I had selected floor and none came up. I was trying while at work from my work computer, which may be part of the problem, but I have gotten tickets here before with no problem at all. Kept trying, switching between both presale codes to no avail.

I guess the ticket gods were not with me yesterday, but hopefully will be with me tomorrow.

I have been buying concert tickets for 28 years, so I'm somewhat of a veteran. My very first concert, and my absolute favorite band, was The Cure on July 25, 1987 at UNO.
Floor tickets, $15.00 ticket price. Thats when I became a concert addict. ;-)
I know we have been to many of the same shows, we probably crossed paths many times, funny how we never met.

I kinda miss waiting in a real line for tickets. Getting to the mall or outlet at 3am and wait in line for hours with like mined people. I have met many awesome people this way and ultimately became great friends with most of them. The craziest was when Pearl Jam played the 3 night at UNO and the tickets went on sale on a Friday at 5pm. I missed a whole day of work to stand in that line all day for those tickets. The good ole days....

Hopefully we will cross paths again on the FLOOR of UNO on May 11, 2016.

  25. There will likely be floor tix on Friday. Some opened up various times this morning...we tried for at least 30 minutes after 10am. Bonne chance! It will happen for you. It's so hard and frustrating, much different than the late 80s and 90s for sure. Damn internet. :/

  26. They just aired the ad for The Cure in NOLA during The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Have to admit, that was very exciting. :)

Also, I don't know if all tickets/sections were offered during the NOLA presale, or if some were held back for today, but if they were, there were only 60 tickets left as of yesterday afternoon. I know the entire upper level was offered, and only 48 tickets were left.

If it sells out, will they add a 2nd show on May 10th?

    1. Yeah, they held some back for today. More tickets, including floor, are available today.

  27. Good luck to everyone this morning. Also, another NOLA show would be a-maz-ing. I had visions of doing a whole South to Northwest tour, but high ticket demands kind of blew that out of the water. If I can get in MIA and two NOLA, I'd be beyond happy.

  28. Wow, I've actually pulled great seats in sections 1, 2, and 3 in Miami today.

    3. Have to disagree. Have had great luck with the 5 presales I've done.

    4. Pre-sale hated me too, but today was easy. No problems getting floor tickets.
