  8. Craig I hope you dont mind me doing this here and it is completely off topic. I had noticed down through the years particularly on the old COF site the links to other bands that interest yourself.I have been a big David Sylvian/Japan fan and also have liked other music that you seem to enjoy yourself going by the links, such as Depeche Mode, New order/Joy Division, The Sundays. There is so much music out there that sometimes a great band can be missed especially in the age of downloaded music so I wanted to point yourself and the others here on COF to a band called Air Traffic from bournemouth England. Going by what you like (and I apologise if there is a generalisation there) I think you and others here might like this. A couple of youtube links follow and I hope you dont mind once more.

  9. If that "rubbish" was directed at my comment geeb (cracking name by the way)thank you so very much for your intellectual and constructive criticism. Your politeness knows no bounds. You Muppet!
If it was not directed at my comment and was directed at the sane smith remix that this thread is primarily about then I apologise unreservedly for calling you a muppet.

  11. Sam - No, I don't mind at all, and you're right, I really like them. Thank you for posting the clips. I see that they have split up, is that right?

  12. Glad you liked Craig. Yeah seems they have split which I only discovered to my absolute disappointment after I had posted on December 10. Their first & only release "Fractured Life" was a very tight and exceptionally good release. Im surprised with that news because last I heard earlier this year was that they were in studio preparing number 2 release. I came on them on a show that airs on UK tv called "later with Jools Holland" who is a former band member of a band called squeeze from late 70's earley 80's. If RS has a void to fill (Porls departure) and if he were to consider the re-introduction of keys he could do a lot worse that the lead of Air Traffic James Maddock. He plays excellent keys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqO3zUwdiN0 and he is an excellent rythym guitarist http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qIwxMy1bIA
And it now seems that he would be available.
