Not In Love is #1 on NME's 10 Tracks You Have To Hear This Week, and is #7 on the FM4 chart in Austria. It also entered the NME singles chart at #17, but that appears to be the non-Robert version. The Robert version won't be officially released until Dec. 6th. (Thanks Aaron, Drowning, and David)
And here's an article from RVA Magazine about some of Robert's collaborations over the last few years. (Thanks David)

Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI still think Robert’s best collaboration was “Perfect Blue Sky” he did with Junkie XL back in 2003. It sounded both Cure-esque and Glove-esque. It’s available on the "Radio JXL: A Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin" album. No mention of it in that article.
ReplyDeleteThe current issue of Rolling Stone also has it picked as one of their downloads of the month, and calls it Robert's catchiest performance since Friday I'm In Love.
ReplyDeleteI love All of This and totally understand why that RVA writer said it was the best thing Robert has done since Wish.
ReplyDeleteIf The Cure could release an album with a few tracks like that on it? Wow
I totally agree AndrewV127. I am just hoping for something...anything at this point. :)
ReplyDeleteit's getting a lot of airplay in oz on JJJ and recently ranked as one of the highest entries of "all time" in their creatively entitled segment "hit or shit", rating in at 86% hit...
ReplyDeleteand crystal castles are with fiction?? interesting...I thought rs had nuttin' to do with fiction anymore...nice...
ReplyDeleteSmegger - agreed. I also thought the collaboration with Reeves Gabrels, Yesterday's Gone, was Cure-esque.
ReplyDeleteI like this, but am hoping for a remix with less of that screeching sound. That will keep me from downloading, methinks.
the screeching is the best bit!
