  2. Craig, you said that there will be good news but you cannoy say anything yet and I understand the situation but yesterday I was watching some videos of the "4 tour" with the discotheque sound and terrible noise of guitars and bad playing of porl, of course jason has ruined all the songs and after the flop of 4:13 nihgtmare XD (the worst album of the cure, for me Wms is a master piece in comparison)has no great expectations to follow this band as I did in the past 23 years.
Please tell me something positive Craig.
    Thanks very much

  3. "of course jason has ruined all the songs"..I've never played drums in my life, and i prefered Boris's energetic playing but all that Jason bashing is a bit much me thinks....

  6. The bashing of Jason Cooper really has to stop, he is not a bad drummer, listen to "It's Over" as an example, The 2004 album, Bloodflowers album, the drumming on these records is more dynamic than the earlier albums, Boris is a great drummer, but the style and beats were a bit simpler, as for the Guitars, I have and have played many guitars and Schecters are one of the better brands out there. the "Ultracure" is a great guitar with a very full and lush sound, it seems to me that he is using different effects however. Production has been the downside to the latest Cure albums, except for Bloodflowers, if 4:13 Dream had better production, it would easily be one of their best, the songs were great and the lyrics inspired and creative, not like the "paint by numbers " lyrics on the 2004 release, after that I felt Robert Smith had nothing left to say and I truly thought they were done and watching the Curiosa footage I was sure of it, they all looked bored and beat, the energy of the 4tour proved me wrong and remains one of their shining moments, along side of The Prayer and Dream tours
