Kevin and Bean say they will announce "details" about Almost Acoustic X-mas, on Thursday morning's show. The show starts at 5am pacific, but you can probably expect the announcement to be made later in the show. (Thanks Debi)

ReplyDeleteI'm also hoping Franz Ferdinand because they all-of-a-sudden played a brand new song on their upcoming album and they rarely do that. Yet again, they had Kanye West call in to promote his new album so it's anyone's guess. I never listen to this station... between Stinkin Park and Incubus

ReplyDeleteI hate to be the dissenter, but if they're playing this event, it's more than likely gonna be Sunday. Their schedule is crazy on Thursday and Friday with the Leno and Daly tapings... plus Staind have already confirmed themselves for playing at the event on Saturday and I *really* cannot imagine Staind and The Cure playing on the same night. KROQ has tended to combine similar acts on the same day in previous years...

To see them at CD or JK - you will get a mini concert - basically the same as KROQ (if they play) but it will be $$$$$$$ for that show as opposed to free and hanging with fellow Cure peeps. Either way, to see them again even for one show is pretty cool. Did we think we would see them at all before year-end?
