"The Cure, meanwhile, wrote a short instrumental called The Weedy
Burtons, which featured as a hidden track on their debut album Three
Imaginary Boys in 1979.
"I'd taught myself to play a bit by reading Bert Weedon's
Play In A Day books using my older brother's guitar," said Robert Smith.
"It's a sort of tongue in cheek tribute to Bert."

ReplyDeleteI'm Vladislav from Sofia, Bulgaria. I'm a slo-mo deep disco Dj and in the same time a very big Cure fan! The Cure was and still very important part of my live and hope to see them one day live in Bulgaria. Yesterday I got back to my old vinyls of the band and I decided to make a mix exclusively with their music for RS birthday. Only my favorite pieces - slow, deep, about love, fast, hysterical, depressive... The ones because of which I have always loved this band.
