  3. It's strange, because the final part seems to taking off, then nothing happens. I expected for a classic curish final but they quickly end the song. Strange, also the other song sounds "hasty" to me. I mean, i like them, both are nice songs..but after 8 years..i expected more, honestly..but anyway, i'm happy they are back with a fantastic setlist:)

  4. Well, Luca, don`t forget that you hear a private recording of a live show. So many sounds and parts can be drowned in the bad sound or be inaudiable due to where person recording was placed in the venue.
Of course the basic song is there, but a lot of textures and tonalities can be "hidden" in such a live recording.
I don<´t want to judge the new songs after only 2 half-bad recordings...

    1. i never judge cure songs until several listens. Some I have initially written off end up being personal favourites eg fascination street. dont know why but i used to skip this track

  5. I'm pretty sure I'm currently a world record holder for the number of times someone listened to this song. Hours upon hours on a loop. One of the great Cure classics. Tear jerker this one, strikes a chord. The other song, not so much.

  6. I wonder if they will debut more new material as the tour progresses? (fingers crossed!)
