What do we think then? Are these some of the fabled 4:14 songs, or have they been written more recently with Reeves? There's not much wild guitar, so I'm pumping for the former - some from the original 4:13 project (aka 4:26)
I would think so. I hope it is a darker album. Judging from these two songs it will be less pop. It's not that I don't enjoy the lighter side of the Cure, but I think Robert is at his best when explores darker themes.
i love the sound of this new song. Sounds very much like classic cure. I hope we get a whole album of songs like this. I love the sound of Robert's Fender VI
Well, we all said that when they played "Underneath the stars" eight years ago. A great song but got totally spoiled upon the final release due to poor production.
I do the cd sounds bad and the vinyl even worse, unfortunate because the album is fantastic! Robert is aware of this, hopefully we will see a remaster some day.

Fantastic! I love it. But now there's a question - THIS is Christmas Without You or Without you is Christmas Without You? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Perfect_Boy
