  4. Hope our Crown Prince (Frederik, Denmark) renounces the throne.
If not then at least he's said he's a fan of The Cure (uses music as therapy, guess he doesn't like being born into this anachronism of an instituion).

And The Cure will never be old - they are the eternal youth (as a review said after Roskilde).

  5. Robert is a lovely lier lol.I think the cure will exist when he is 63 because he simply can not stop doing this as the frontman of the cure.
The Rolling Stones have been telling the same thing and they always tour again and they are as all of us know "real world tours" but it's really funny listen to Robert and always interesting to see him speak of whatever happens in the world.

  6. rarely listen to interviews (don't care) but the comment "we're getting close..." well, that's kind'a scary... sucks, i guess. i was hoping he'd be up there forever ~ wearing therapeutic oldman shoes (like my grandad)(and mick jagger)

yes, youth IS wasted on the young

    1. I thought the same thing, but then I realized he's using the word properly. The Democrats are better than the Republicans, generally, but it's not like they're so protective of democracy when they've sold out to corporations, especially people like Bill Clinton and Obama.

  10. Robert is absolutely right. Insecurity is why people want status. I see it in myself and all around me. It's so hard to fight it, and I'm proud Robert is strong in that manner.

I love his comments on the monarchy. The main reason people care more about Kate than Prince Charles is they want to have sex with her; the whole thing is celebrity gossip masquerading as English nationalistic grandeur. It makes me sick how the Canadian media lauds royalty, while systematically attacking working class rights.

  11. "I'll never sing Satisfaction when I'm 45 years old". Remember that line by mr. Jagger? OK.

  12. We're getting very close........... I've heard that before . The Cure has broken up / or Robert has broken up the Cure......... I've heard that before too . Just as long as he come to CHARLOTTEonce before it really happens .

  15. hey, they got me and my girlfriend in the opening montage of this video. robert was very energetic in milan, except that in friday I'm in love it was clear that he was only doing the song because he had to. the milan crowd went nuts for it anyways. they played a typical long set and the few rare songs like the top and just one kiss were a nice treat. we're hoping they mix it up a little here in rome for tonight, and hopefully they get enough time to do as many songs as they did in milan.

  16. fan logic: well if performing still makes RSX feel good and so-o-o-o many ppl continue to REALLY enjoy Cure shows, then why quit?

    re: advanced age factor~
yes Robert, we look/feel like idiots too, but that doesn't stop us from going to Cure concerts... or going to the beach... or eating a candy apple... or dancing... or...or...
