I really hope Robert´s health & voice be well so soon.
ReplyDeleteTake Care Robert !!
Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciated the way he kept plowing through the show, and pulled it off so well despite the cold. Good to hear it's already going away. May Cleveland be that much better.
ReplyDeletegood stuff...now, this has nothing to do with ice cream but...THE WOMBATS....man...please all go get this album...this the best thing ive heard out of england since since well, since i dunno when really....
ReplyDeleteThe man is a trooper, many artists would cancel a few shows to recover.
ReplyDeletewhy do i always feel like a giddy pubescent when robert posts?
ReplyDeletejust WAITING for someone to flame me for that!
YES YES, it's all about the music -but my libido is all in a frenzy lately...
Blame Canada!
ReplyDelete@clockwise: Since no one has flamed you yet, I'll do the honors...
ReplyDeleteI'm so sick of fangirls like you posting about getting giddy over Robert. He's a human being, so get over it. I'll bet you're one of those brain dead Cure drones who thought The Cure was a good album, aren't you? You disgust me! Why don't you stfu and go to a Celine Dion concert or something, stupid American!
:))) Heehee. Just had to throw in the Celine Dion bit, as I really got a chuckle from that comment in the other thread.
P.S. I'm glad to hear that Robert is doing better! Yay! :)
Actually the weather in Canada during those dates was quite good -- for me at least. There was low humidity, much like I experienced when I visited England in 1997, so it was hot in the sun and cold in the shade. Something like 80% of Canadians live within 100 km of the US border, so the weather isn't much different than New York city or anything. It got bitterly cold yesterday and today, though.
ReplyDelete@muldfeld: I was worried that we would have snow here in Denver for the show on Wednesday, because we've had some crappy cold weather this month so far and the venue they're playing here is outdoors and in the foothills. I was trying to imagine watching them play in the snow...didn't sound like fun to me :) But anyway, to your point, it sounds like you can't really blame the weather there for poor Robert's cold - sounds like nearly perfect weather to me!
ReplyDeleteYea, it's going to be 90f here in Denver on Wednesday. Should make for perfect evening temps, even at 6000+ feet :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe a full moon, too ?
i have food poisoning today and am home sick from work. where's MY love?
ReplyDelete@sara: It will be close to full - wunderground says that today is full moon. It's going to be a gorgeous evening! I'm glad the temps warmed up for the occasion. :) Ahh... I can't wait!
ReplyDelete@monkeybutt: Oh noes. :( That is horrible! I don't wish food poisoning on anyone. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteV: YOU STFU and go listen to 50 Cent, ho! Maybe he'll pop a cap in yo ass and we won't have to deal with your useless postings no mo!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, tx for the flame... I hanker for those! :-D I was half-expecting David to do it, really. ;-)
Monkeybutt: I've been telling you to STAY AWAY from the Fried Ape Ass you've been munching on so greedily.
