ReplyDeleteI WON THE SLICING UP EYEBALLS PRIZE .WOOOHOO
ReplyDeleteand thanks fr all these files too:)
ReplyDeleteI have a number of Prayer Tour shows, as well, including many that aren't listed there. :)
ReplyDeletecongratulations deadboycraved!!
ReplyDeleteWith ANY bootleg from 1985-1992 you will find that the drums were the lead instrument in The Cure's sound.
ReplyDeleteIn Entreat+, Robert's pretended to rewrite history and made the drums sound like shit... ABSURD!
Why he did that?
He is really pissing off most of his old loyal fans. Fans that grew up with "that Cure sound", the sound that defined their best years, commercially and creatively.
Now, Entreat+ is almost like hearing the current Cure lineup (with jason 'playing' the drums) with all their bad sound!
awesome, thank you !!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone got 23rd July 1989 at Wembley Arena? I had it on tape for years and then someone hit record and wiped out 45 mins of it....
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry forgot to say thanks loads for the ones that are up.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have San Diego (09/12/89). That was the show I went to and it would mean a lot!
Thanks again!
Thanks !!! i went to 4 of them (lucky me..)
ReplyDeletei have San Diego for you
ReplyDeleteMogwai47, I have it.
ReplyDeleteany chance of the Durham, NC show?

ReplyDelete@ Shawn, Fantastic, many thanks in advance. Will you be able to upload it here so everyone can hear it? I was there and it was a great gig.
ReplyDeleteMogwai, I'll do one better. I'll put up BOTH of the first two Wembley shows. :) By the way, the audio on #2 is excellent. :)
ReplyDeleteShawn, schweeeeeet. Thanks, my old copy was a bit ropey to be honest.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for those...
ReplyDeleteAny chance of someone providing an A+ audience (Not the Cd bootleg) recording of Paris Bercy 09/07/89 ?
In my opinion, one of the best Cure concert ever...
Thanks to Cof and all for all the memories...
thanks lindsey..and to all those great people uploading their bootlegs, this is great
ReplyDeleteanyone got the glasgow gig???, id love to have that
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Now, if only I could find a recording of the first date of the 4Tour at the Patriot Center... The only time I've had the opportunity to see The Cure!
ReplyDelete*the first US date of the 4tour...
ReplyDeletemany of the major forums have lots of shows for download. i know that cureconnections recently did a "prayer tour re-live" in which every (or most, at least) prayer tour show was posted on its anniversary
ReplyDeleteCan anyone point me to a soundboard boot of a WISH-era show? I'd love to hear a live rendition of "From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea."
ReplyDeleteDon: Why do you need a boot? Just listen to Show. : )
ReplyDeleteCraig: Thanx for reminding me about SHOW. It was not in my iTunes library. A quick trip upstairs to my CD shelves fixed that problem!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!!! Does any one have the Aug. 22nd show from the Cap centre in Maryland?
ReplyDeleteThat was my first Cure concert - it was a religious experience.
And was Shelleyan Orphan's sets ever recorded as well?
This is fantastic! Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to attend the Dodger Stadium concert as I wasn't a Cure fan back in '89. Listening to these audio files is the next best thing. Impressed w/ how great these sound. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThis isn't Disintegration/Prayer Tour-related but I recently came across this great article on the Hometown Pasadena site which had several unexpected mentions of The Cure, as well as some early KROQ history:

me only being 18 was too young sadly for the prayer tour, does anyone have a bootleg of the wembley 2008 gig as that was my first :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for everyone who uploaded those prayer tour concerts.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought, it would be great if someone could post, besides the date/name, the quality of the recording, for those who doesn´t have a good connection.
Wow...I didn't know there were that many recorded shows floating around! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I had both Mansfield, MA shows (I attended both) on cassette a LOOONG time ago, so it's great to get one of them (the best night) in mp3. It was the one time I did Robert hair in public.
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten how Shelleyan Orphan ruined Forever. The violin was good, but the singing...
ReplyDeleteCHEERS FR THE HEADS UP DEVIL.FUTILITY :)
ReplyDeleteglad i could help out with some of these shows..but in a way i still miss some of the excitement before the internet and finding your fav boot at a seedy record store in eastern europe...(that was the case with me findin the loreley bootleg my first cure show 89) i DO NOT miss, however, paying an extortional amount for these :P
ReplyDeletei have some of kiss me tour stuff too if anyone wants,,,you don't see much of them out there , i need to recatalogue what shows i still have as i ended up deleting alot to make room on my harddrive...30+ GB of cure music was a bit much...i can only listen to so many different versions of a song :P
@birdmad2000 i just bought myself a new external hard drive on ebay because my 100 gig one was filled up..... mostly with cure shows.. hahaha
ReplyDeletemaybe i can ask you for a few shows that i am looking for that i have been to then ;)
ReplyDeletei flew down from Hawaii to see them at dodger's stadium when i was just 17, you know what i mean.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys need CD covers to go with any of these shows be sure to check out CURECONNECTIONS. CD covers are available for every show of the Prayer Tour. Pretty cool!
