Robert is hilarious in this clip! Can't wait for Lollapalooza coming up in August... I hope to hear at least one of the following: "Prayers for Rain," "The Same Deep Water As You," "The Drowning Man," "Faith," "Short Term Effect," "Cold" or (highly unlikely) "Splintered in Her Head"!! Oh yeah! CURE FOR LIFE! :-)
Sorry, I do realize my comment was a bit "off topic" but if there is any chance Robert reads this thread I wanted to put my two cents in :) The truth is that I love all the Cure's music. I will NOT leave Lollapalooza disappointed, I am sure of this :)
I think it's time for "Lament" back to the setlist. After such a long time this would be a really surprise. Cheers from Puerto Iguazu; today off to Buenos Aires ;-)
I have a brother who lives in Chile and I sent him the link to this blog post so he could see the video and I asked him if it was a desperate bid to sell tickets or just Robert making a funny ad. Here was his response: "i would say funny ad but with about 50k seats to fill at a minimum of $50 and up to $300 a ticket, in a country where the min wage is $2 it might have been someone trying to convince him to really try and sell it and that was his not really caring to be a self promoter approach in which case i guess i would still say it is him making a funny ad."
