Interpol tour dates and pre-sales

For the Interpol fans who haven't heard yet, the band have announced tour dates and are doing a pre-sale. Good luck!

  1. Craig, Have you or anyone else been able to even look at the tour info? I looked at the email shortly after I received it, and the link didn't work; it's like the site's been down for hours.

  2. Yeah, I had trouble for about 15 minutes after they sent it, but it works fine now.

  3. Too bad Carlos D will not be on tour with them. Think that Simon Gallup might be one of the surprise Bassists to fill in on some dates? One can hope I guess!

  5. Thanks for answering, Craig.

I'm still unable to download the site and it's been 24 hours. And I've tried 3 different browsers on my Mac: Safari, Netscape, and Firefox. Can I ask if you use a Mac or IBM clone and what browser you use? I'm worried because I don't want to miss out on any presale.

    Thanks.

  6. I'm using a PC with Firefox. Just tried again, and no problem at all with the site.

  7. Thanks, Craig. I think it's a Toronto problem, since I phoned my high-speed cable internet company and the operator couldn't access the site, either. It could even be a Canada-wide problem. I sent messages to the band via their myspace and facebook pages, but I'm not sure what else to do.

I'm lucky I already have tickets to the U2 concerts at which they'll appear and which are the only dates they'll be in Canada so far.

Very sad about Carlos Dengler leaving the band. Has anyone checked out Paul Banks' solo album? Skyscraper, On the Esplanade, and H are great tracks, and give me hope for the band without Carlos, especially because I wasn't thrilled with most on the last album.

  8. I saw Paul twice when he was here as Julian Plenti for Skyscraper. Really really good. Great Pixies' cover as well.
