Only One out early!

    Has anyone else heard the single yet? is the b side an instrumental?
    has anyone seen the box? can someone send in a photo of it? I know lame collector questions!

    Yes, I've heard it. NY Trip is NOT an instrumental. It's a weird semi pop song. Reminds me of a WMS era b-side. A small bit of Home and Adonis mixed with a bit of Wendy Time (maybe). Best part? There's piano on it!
    Thought it was so-so at first, but like it more and more with each play.

    I'm starting to think the box doesn't exist. Only the original post on ebay mentioned it. Then Ideal Copy listed it, but might have just copied the info from there.

    Ummmm, how about sharing, really?!?!? Been waiting for these songs for the better part of two years, 8 months for tour postponement (announced August 24,the day AFTER my birthday), I've already pre-ordered the single from Amazon, will get from iTunes and pick up from local store (if they have)....peace stone??

    Hey Craig, HMV says that it has free shipping for The Only One. Do you think that applies to just the UK, or would they ship it to the US for free, as well?

    It was only in store, I doubt it will be available online yet. No other store in Manchester has it displayed. The main market street store made a mistake. You'll have to wait! Free delivery within the UK.

    the german mailorder indietective mentioned that the new album will come as a deluxe edition with space for the 4 singles so far. that would be an explanation why there is no box at HMV.

    anyone knows the truth (godness & beauty) ??

    Well, I went into the main HMV on market street in Manchester today (Wednesday) and there is no Cure single there. If they did put them out by mistake they have taken them away again. I even asked the shop assistant and he said Monday. I also tried the smaller HMV on Market street and none there either
