Lima & Bogata tickets on sale today

Tickets for the Bogota, Colombia show go on sale today at 10am here. Check here for the current time in Bogota. Update: Forget that, they changed it to 8am, so they are on sale now!

Can anyone help with this? "It seems that everyone who doesn't have a Columbian credit card will be excluded from the tuboleta sale. No international card accepted. You either have to be in Colombia in person or have a Colombian card. Perhaps more people should know about it, as some of us have started to make plans to go there. " (Thanks Amanda)

They just confirmed that they wil only accept Colombian credit cards. (Thanks Bianca)

Okay, who needs Bogota tickets? Bianca might be able to buy some for you. Email me, but you need to hurry! Bianca () is fantastic! And wonderful! And everyone better buy her a drink, or dinner, or something, when they get to Bogota! Again, thank you, Bianca!

And here they are! Your Bogata tickets! Thank you again for all your help, Bianca!

Lima ticket. Thanks Juan.

This article says they sold 1,000 tickets in first 30 minutes. Seems pretty low. (Thanks David)

This article claims more than 50% of available tickets have been sold. No source for this info is given. (Thanks David)

  7. I just called the phone number above and was told the only way they accept international CC's is by visiting a ticketing booth in Colombia. A lotta good that does me all the way from California!! ;0(

  9. I'm trying to buy Lima tickets, which can be picked up locally then, but it shows me a payment error code "403". May be it's the same problema as Colombia...

  10. This is starting to get a little ridiculous? Need a Lima address to get tickets. No will call. Do South Americans hate foreigners or something???

    1. The argentinian show won't be an issue to buy. I'm shure of that because i already bought tickets through that site.

      It's also the cheapest show!

    1. Did you get Will Call? If not how are you getting them? No mail option, correct?

    2. I think they are will call since I don't have a Peru address.

    1. I know! That one went so smoothly, for the most part. Guess it's good for the locals, though.

  13. Well, let the Columbians and Peruans go and see the band, it's their first and only chance. Imagine the shows being sold out and some people from Peru didn't get tickets because some of us nut Europeans or North Americans got our hands on some of them. To be honest, if I had the time and money these days, I would really love to go and see the Lima show.. I saw the band many many times almost all around the world, ahd this would be really great. But even if I could, I think I shouldn't go and probably spoil the chance of a local fan to eventually see his or her favourite band! Think about this, my dear fellow cure nuts!

    1. While I would normally agree, these aren't small theatre shows. Not even arena sized shows. These are massive stadium shows, with the exception of Rio, and there should be plenty of tickets to go around for everyone.

    2. Good point Craig, I didn't realize the venues are big stadiums, shouldn't be a problem then. Wonder if and how fast they will sell out.

  14. We don´t hate foreigners (????)
There is an option in ENVIO/ENTREGA which is a kind of will call: Retiro en puntos de venta Tu Entrada (to pick it up at the selling points of Tu Entrada, there are like 30 stores around Lima). You have to claim the ticket with an ID and the CC used to pay it. They open sunday to sunday from 11 am to 8 pm.
There is also a phone: +5116183838
    Good luck!
I have my ticket now! :)

  17. 1000 tickets sold in an hour. that seems worryingly little.

    1. No, it clearly says 1000 tickets sold in 30 minutes. It's not so low I think.

    2. Looks like they changed it. It originally said 1,000 in the first hour. I guess this is a bit better, but I really thought these tickets would be going much faster.

    3. It is fast. Remember it's Peru, not Paris or London

    4. Chile reportedly sold 4,000 in the 1st hour, so, yes, this is slower.

    5. Hey Pablo, you were right. My mistake. The article always said 30 minutes, they didn't change it.

    6. thumbs up to davidaftertherain! calm down all - this isnt a European or North American tour, where we are "trained" to rush and buy tickets the very millisecond they go on sale. There is a different way of doing things in Suramerica. I've been to see my folks in Bogota a few times, trust me on this! LOL

  18. Wouldn't be surprised if people got caught out by the change of time for the ticket sale?
Anyway, we don't really know how fast tickets generally sell in these places (apart from Mexico).

The fact that the promoters released that info in the first place and it got published on the net actually suggests they are selling quicker than anticipated to me.

    1. Bogota was the show with the time change, not Lima. Bogota was selling very quickly.

  19. Selling very fast ! Media reports 26% of the 50,000 tickets already gone. Who will sell out first, Lima or Santiago ?!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not true. That report is for Chile. And it's old now. Chile has sold 25,000 tickets so far, according to promoters.

  20. You're right. Mixed two gigs. An article states 16,000 tickets have been sold in 24 hours. Promoters almost sure the 50,000 available will sold out .

  21. More than 30,000 tickets sold for Lima !

  22. 2 sections of a total of 7,000 sold out. Tickets available in the two others with a capacity of 15,000.
