That was a great read. Thanks Craig & Roger.
ReplyDelete"I programmed about 80 songs" :-)))
ReplyDeleteThe story about finding the lost Disintegration sample was fascinating :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what exactly the sample was saved on? Was it a CD-ROM disc or hard drive that was found in the Tin in the Garage? I'm guessing it wasn't proprietary storage for the playback machine? Was it on a 5 1/4 floppy? 1.44MB Diskette?
This tech geek wants to know! :)
Thank Roger! we have a cool keyboard player in our Cure band :) :) :)
It was on a 1.44 I believe if memory serves me. He told me once a good while back.
ReplyDeleteI don't even have a 1.44 Floppy drive on any of my computers anymore!
DeleteCouldn't have been .wav files - those disks won't even hold 2 minutes of audio :)
Wow, Roger!
