I'm forever grateful for Craig for encouraging me to listen to Interpol....... and CUREiously, as I am typing this The Church are playing on my iPod..... another Craig recommendation.
Craig, those dates have been removed from Town Ballroom's website. However, the Rochester show is still up on Ticketmaster's website, and the Buffalo show is still up on Tickets.com. My guess is that the promoters, After Dark Events, jumped the gun, and were probably asked to take down the notices for now.
i don't know, interpol just doesn't do it for me. i really try to like them, since i always hear how good they are, but i'm just missing something i guess :/
I don't know, I have entered my email address twice and have yet to receive my download, so I can't listen to it yet. How is it everyone, what does it sound like?
Hell yeah Interpol. They are great for the times just like the warlocks and beach house. Newer bands that have that it factor. Can't wait for my VIP passes.
speaking of other bands, has anyone seen the Levinhurst clips of their recent european tour on utube...to see dempsey and tolhurst in 2010 doing early cure like 10:15, bdc, Killing an A, and then accuracy and wait for it, another day(!!) is weird to say the least...good on them...dempsey even does gallup (play for today)...
We will be posting important information and dates in the coming weeks. (From their "announcement" email)
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of this. :)
Me, too, V. I am shaking. Interpol is back! : ) But here's a start:

ReplyDeleteyou have a fair backlog to get through then...strangely enough, their stuff gets better with the passing years...an uncommon occurrence!
Indeed, it is awesome. Does this band have any other songs as good as this?

ReplyDelete@ML68 - I did know The Church and had their Hindsight cd, but it was Craig who guided me through the journey of their back catalog.

ReplyDeleteMmh... very nice, but it seems like a rip-off of Wrecking Ball to me. Anyway, let's hope they come back to Italy on the new album tour!

ReplyDeleteWhen Paul Banks played here recently as Julian Plenti, he did a signing and I asked him if he's spoken to Robert since Curiosa. He said they haven't.
