This might not be necessary, given the relative simplicity of the lyrics, but just in case you need them, V and I put this together.
Close your eyes, close your eyes (x4)
Please change your mind, please change your mind (x4)
All you have to do is change your mind
All you have to do is close your eyes
All you have to do is change your mind
And come to me
You're the one I'm dreaming, you're the one I'm dreaming (x11)
All you have to do is close your eyes
And come to me
Yeah all you have to do is change your mind
And come to me
(x4)
You're the one I'm dreaming, you're the one I'm dreaming
You're the one I'm dreaming of tonight
You're the one I'm dreaming, you're the one I'm dreaming (x3)
You're the one I'm dreaming of tonight
You're the one I'm dreaming, you're the one I'm dreaming
You're the one I'm dreaming of.....

That Bunny Lake again.
ReplyDeleteYep. She's a very talented lady. : )
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely song in all respects. My compliments to all who were involved in this very nice work of art.
ReplyDeleteP.S. A belated Happy Birthday to Robert. Hope it was a beautiful experience.
thanks for the lyrics, but it´s called "so long i´m dreaming"; what you hear as "of tonight" is more a repeating of "so long i´m" and "your mind".
ReplyDeleteSO glad that all I have to do is close my eyes and change my mind! Amazing the simplicity that's been eluding me all these years...
ReplyDeleteThanks! I still like this song, even if it is simple :P
ReplyDeleteAlso Craig, do you have any news about the official site at all? I don't think anyone's able to log in ... Silly forum :P
Catsy: We have listened again, but do not hear what you wrote. We will stick with what we already have, until/unless official lyrics show it to be wrong.
ReplyDeleteNotdeadyet: Nope. Maybe they are shutting it down again. It's the only logical thing to do with that ridiculous place.
@catsy i definitely heard "so long i'm dreaming" as well.
ReplyDeletei still don't really hear "you're the one i'm dreaming" but i do definitely hear the "of tonight" now.

Haha very true Craig! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteNot bad if you compare it to these odd collaborations of the past. But still... no thanks.
ReplyDeletehey Craig... Bunny lake is a he, and is old... not a lady at all!
ReplyDeletethanx for keeping us all updated
Oh, so the rumors of Bunny Lake being Mary Poole are false? Damn, I liked thinking it was her.
ReplyDelete"You're the one i'm dreaming"...that's what i hear too.
ReplyDeleteyep,
ReplyDeletePoole wouldnt be him cause he worked for the cure in the arly 80's and...well... she is not "that involved" in music industry lol...
and this man is credited in early cure records... Poole is just living life my dears!
Yeah, I was wondering when/how Mary became a producer/engineer. : ) I think what got those rumors started were the photo credits to Bunny Lake in the remastered CDs. Thanks for clearing that up.
ReplyDelete" and all you have to do is turn up the autotune"
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteclose you eyes, change your mind...
ReplyDeletelove them stories bout the boy hooked on the girl, but does not know how to tell her. He pushes her away in frustrations and anger, then wants her back. She, innocent, perhaps scared of him, very beauty and the beast like!

ReplyDeleteShe won't close her eyes
ReplyDeleteShe won't change her mind;
Her eyes open wide
She won't give in, why?
I was just having a go at some lyrics!
