  2. Going to the MSG show in NY... haven't seen them since the Curiosa Tour. Do they keep selling concert t-shirts after the show? Or is the selection (designs & sizes) limited by that point? Curious if I should by before the show starts or after...

    1. Buy before. But if it's anything like Chicago there will be a massive wait so get there early or miss twilight sad. But if you don't mind missing opening band take some time. In my opinion you can miss twilight sad if you can hear it tour good. Way too hyped up in my opinion. Oh shit here come the haters😂

    3. DON'T miss The Twilight Sad! I'm not a hater. You'd have to work much harder than that to wreak my ire!:) I have seen 5 shows this tour and have become a bona fide TTS addict. No one should miss them. Robert thinks so too, or he wouldn't have asked them to open. Get there early, shop leisurely, and get your rear end to your seat before TTS starts.

  4. I was trying to find something about the acoustics in the Agganis arena and came across this (discouraging) gem of a review from someone in 2008:

"Where good acoustics go to die.

I don't know what the CURE is here for the DISINTEGRATING sound. I WISH I knew the answer. Do we have to stake someone's HEAD ON THE DOOR to get something done? I wish I had could have some FAITH that something would get done to rectify the situation, even for just SEVENTEEN SECONDS. But alas, I fear it never will. Would have been better off sitting at home and watching some PORNOGRAPHY.

[The sound] comes back round to breaking apart again /Breaking apart like it's made up of glass again"

Ugh. I have seats in that echoey back portion of the hall. Apparently. So Mike, if you get multiple offers of GA floor 1 tickets, please send an extra my way :-)

    1. No sports arena will have good sound. The best possible sound sweet spot will be towards the rear near the tech/soundboard area...floor/lower bowl center since the speakers are forward facing far left/right of stage.

That being said...it is very fun and exciting to be up front as close as possible.

    2. I saw The Cure play there during their last tour and the acoustics are fine. It's a terrific venue and there's not a bad seat in the house!

  5. Even up front in Floor 1, the acoustics will be less than stellar. For some reason, Agganis' sound quality is way worse than that of other sport arenas in the area.
