Reeves says he's still a Cure

From @Pjotrke: "I asked Reeves on FB if he will play with Robert in 2013. Replied he's still a member of The Cure! No news of any shows though."
Here was Reeves' reply to Peter: "i quit amicably bowie in 2000 when we finished "hours..." after 13 yrs . i am now a member of the cure. glad you enjoyed last summer's shows"

  2. I won't expect anything soon, but hopeful and already looking forward to the fresh input Reeves could bring to the songwriting. The Cure were super-tight live over the summer. They obviously riff off each other, some good stuff could come out of this.

  3. Yes, this lineup sounded phenomenal this past summer. I have been a harsh critic to Jason's drumming, but he sounded great too. Looking forward to anything they do together.

  4. Good news. Now if only they'd get rid of the bloody click tracks. I cant understand why they need them.

    2. Hello honey, how do you feel ? I think the guys are recording an album and that the tour will take place later on. That could explain why no Latin American concert has been confirmed yet. Maybe I'm dreaming a bit but would love to be right !

    4. I'm well David...how are you? I saw that photo too but I'm really not sure what it means. Did you see the picture of him and Robert as well? Not really sure what that meant either!

PS. Wish I could make it to London this weekend but I'm still in Canada :-(

    5. Oh no!! Sorry to hear that. Can you get them replaced?

I'm coming back very soon - watch this space! Let's hope there are many more parties to come :-)

  6. I think this is great news, though if I had my dream choice of anyone, they'd get Martin McCarrick to join the band. That way he could play guitar as good as any one else they've had, keys as well as Roger, AND be able to play string parts so they could play This Is A Lie live, etc. But I'll gladly take Reeves as long as they keep him on a leash and don't let him slather over every song like they let Porl last time.
